Lincoln's dream tonight wasn't like the one he had when he slept over at Clyde's. This one wasn't fun and happy, it was sad.
The dream started where Lincoln was walking through his house which was empty. No Steve, no sisters, no pets, and no parents.
It was dark outside, and Lincoln began to freak out.
He walked outside and saw nobody on the streets, so he went back inside to his room and picked up his walkie-talkie, and dialed Clyde.
Lincoln wasn't aware he was dreaming, so he didn't know Clyde was dead in the dream.
"Clyde? Clyde, are you there?" Lincoln said through the device.
"I'm always here for you, buddy," Clyde answered.
Lincoln sighed with relief and continued to talk with Clyde, saying "Oh, thank god. Where is everybody? Is anybody home with you?"
"No. It's really strange. We should meet up somewhere, don't you think?" Clyde suggested.
"Good call. Let's meet up at the intersection at Franklin and Lacy."
Just in case of anything, Lincoln grabbed his pistol and took it with him.
The boys left their homes and met at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Lacy Street.
"Clyde, I'm so glad you're still here," Lincoln said, relieved.
"I'm never gonna leave you, buddy. What should we do now?" Clyde replied.
"Should we go look for our friends and families?" Lincoln asked.
Clyde nodded and the friends walked down the streets, looking for any sign of people.
They walked downtown and found that the town was deserted and destroyed completely.
They also stumbled upon their favorite places like Gus' Games and Grub, Flip's Food N' Fuel, and the Burpin' Burger.
The places were empty and destroyed with no sign of people.
Clyde began to say "Uh, Lincoln?"
"Yeah, Clyde?" Lincoln responded.
"Do you notice something?"
"That Royal Woods is now a ghost town?"
"Yeah. Which means that WE'RE ALL ALONE!" Clyde panicked.
Lincoln grew a nervous look and then tried to think of a solution.
"Well, at least we still have each other," Lincoln pointed out.
He and Clyde bro hugged and then walked back onto the street.
The sky was completely gray, the sun wasn't out, and it was silent except for the wind and the boys' footsteps.
One thing the boys didn't understand was why everyone had disappeared, or worse.
"Let's head to Hazeltucky and try to find somebody, I don't care who," Clyde suggested.
The boys started walking but then stopped when Lincoln yelled "WAIT!"
His voice echoed throughout the whole city, and Clyde looked at him, worried.
"Let's go to Grove Street real quick. I gotta see if my friend Steve is there," Lincoln explained.
"Who is Steve? Does he go to our school?" Clyde questioned.
"Uh, no. He's a uhm...uh how do I explain it? He's a mentor," Lincoln explained.
The boys made their way towards Grove Street where it was just as bad as it was in real life.
