"Oi! Reki you're late!" You shouted at your red head best friend. He sweat dropped, slamming the door of your manager's car shut before turning to face you "ah, sorry y/n!"

You jokingly rolled your eyes and gave him a side hug, one hand petting the small fox on your lap.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" You questioned as you leaned between the two front seats. "Of course I wanna do this Y/n, and I'm gonna win too!" You couldn’t help but giggle at the grin on his face.

You sat back, enjoying the short journey to S. Not too long after, Oka San pulled up in the parking lot, where many women in scarce clothing and men were skating freely around.

Your manager honked twice before sighing, "jeez, that was dangerous." Reki's head was out the window, enjoying the cool breeze in his hair. You nodded, "yeah, it's hyped tonight" as always.

Your eyes widened when you spotted the famous 'SHADOW'. He's not even that intimidating, he just looks like a wanna be rock star.

Oka pulled up, allowing Reki to jump out. Hopping on his skateboard, and skating the rest of the distance until he stood infront of his opponent.

You bit your nails nervously when shadow began to speak "I thought you made a run for it"

Reki glared, "I'm gonna have you take back the fact that you dissed my skating, Shadow!" The crowd went wild, some shouting beef while some encouraged either your best friend or Shadow.

The horn blew loudly, indicating that the race was about to begin. You bit your lip "please don't make a fool out of yourself Reki"

The first light turned red, then the second, and you bounced on your feet. The next two lights turned red then all of them were blue.

A blonde lady in a crop top and shorts then raised the flag, bringing it down right after.

Reki and Shadow were off, the latter taking the lead. People started cheering loudly, wanting to see if the rookie could beat someone like Shadow.

"GO REKIII!!!" You watch on the screen as Shadow took the first turn, Reki hot on his tail. "YES!!" you squealed when Reki passed Shadow.

Your excitement didn't last for long. You clenched your jaw when Shadow pulled out fire crackers from behind his back and threw them next to your best friend's skateboard. Reki screamed, losing his balance and flying face first into the rocks "Shit!"

You quickly sprinted to the area he fell, getting down on your knees and placing his head on your lap "are you okay Reki- what kind of question is that, of course you're not"

Reki still managed to laugh at you conversing with yourself "I'm fine Y/n" He tried getting up, but winced when his arm made contact with the ground once more.

"I'm fine my ass" You helped him up, wrapping his good arm around your shoulder. You walked him to Oka's car, glaring at everyone who laughed as you passed by.

You walked into class, taking off your headphones. You saw Reki in his seat next to the window, drawing. A soft smile spead across your lips and you walked over to him, ignoring the way the boys around him tried to get your attention.

They all frowned and left and you sat in the seat infront of him, quickly inspecting his arm "Is your arm okay? Does it hurt?" He stared at you with a smile and shook his head "doesn't hurt one bit, see?"

He lifted it up and moved around, ignoring the pain he felt. You slapped your hands on his cheeks, mushing them together "you're so reckless Reki~ but I'm glad you're okay"
