カルマ
I sighed, it took me about a whole hour to convince Lord Third permission to train Naruto. It wouldn't have been such a big deal, if he didn't bring up the fact that me and him were both jinchuriki, and didn't want me training him on that matter. Not like I would. His sensei or someone would teach him how to control the old fox.
"Keep up Naruto. You wouldn't want me finished before you," I looked behind me. Naruto had a long way to go. He huffed, "I know that!" Right now, we were running, as a warm-up. I can tell Naruto wasn't putting much effort, if he did, he would be ahead by now, competing with a rival would give him more motivation. Someone that he despises can truly make him reach his limits.
When we were finished, Naruto was left panting, sweating so much his shirt sticked on to his skin. I handed him a water bottle, "Good thing you took off that sweater of yours." Taking a big gulp of water, he replied, "You gave it to me, remember? I promised I would wear it all the time." I nodded my head, smiling, even though it was supposed to be his parents that would have gave him it, " You're a man of his word, that is why I trust you, but you won't wear it while showering, do you?"
"Why would you do even ask that! Of course I wouldn't!" We laughed.
I looked up to see a clear sky. "Naruto. . . I'm sorry. For-for leaving. I just had to leave, they said-," I blurted out. I turned to look at Naruto, who had been laying down on the grass. "Honestly Karma-kun, I'm just really glad to hear you back. I mean, I do really want to know why you left, but if you're not ready. . ." I wanted to tell him, so badly, but I just couldn't bring myself to. It's not about you Naruto. It's me.
"Your sensei, Kakashi. Why can't he train you? Don't tell me he's being a lazy bum." He laughed, "Oh, he's always late for training. Takes hours. But I guess he's a good guy." The old Kakashi wasn't like that. But what would I know? It's been too long. And people. . . They change.
"Welp, let's do 50 pushups together. Maybe we could do another 50 laps around here. We'll see." He groaned, complaining about his back.

"So, how was it?"
"Karma-kun, you're not going to go easy on me, are you?"
"We'll have to see about that." I winked at him. He glared. "Tommorow, my body will be all sore and you'll just be standing, chopping carrots?" I shook my head at him, chuckling to myself. I hummed, but something felt off. I turned to look at the window, they were there. Watching, waiting. I looked away. Did Naruto feel it too? How much did he really know? Or do they hide everything from him?
I felt trapped. Naruto had sat on a high stool, he was in peace. If only we weren't jinchuriki, if only we were normal. We had no choice but to live this life. It hadn't been fair. We weren't at fault.
"I am only a fool with dreams that will never come true," I kept on whispering to myself. I clenched my fist, the knife had been set down on the table. "I'm sorry I can't save you Naruto. I'm still too weak." Tears hadn't come, running down my cheeks like I wished.

カカシ
No matter how much times I think about, I can't name the feeling. It felt soothing and familiar, but something felt off. Like a warning.
"I'll sleep now, so you can leave me alone," I whispered, honestly terrified. If only I could be left alone, not needing to deal with other people's business.
"Fine. I'm getting up. After this, you'll leave me alone, alright?" I got up and put on my robe, and sighed. Whoever was listening, please stop. I think I'm losing my sanity here. I stepped out of the house, closing the door behind me.
A cold breeze swinged past me. I muttered, "Maybe some kids are messing with me. Better go to bed."
'What does that human see in you? You are nothing more than pathetic weakling.'
No wonder. This familiar presence. . . smelt of blood and wine.
Author's Note - I doubt anyone missed me. I am nothing but a loner. *Sobs in corner*
