Kakashi's P.O.V.
"Alright students, since this is the second day of our training you all will sit down and talk about the required ninja equipment for B-ranked missions", I said. "Hey sensei?", the blonde ninja asks me. I hummed in response as my back was turned, "Are you making us do this so you could just read that perverted book of yours?" Wow, I didn't expect that from an idiot like him, I thought. Welp, time to run away from here to read my book.
"Well, Naruto what do you expect from a perverted man like him?", says a masculine voice. That isn't Sasuke's voice at all. I turn around to see Naruto being punched in the back of his head, "Karma-kun!", Naruto shouts out seemingly surprised. "Oi, brat." Everyone of us is looking at this stranger at this point. "Ah, what type of greeting is that Naruto-baka!", the male says. "It really is you!", Naruto cries out hugging the air out of the poor black-haired man. "Dattebaro, of course I'm, me. Now get off."
"Ahem, we might as well just start heading home now.", I say with an awkward chuckle. "Karma-kun let's go eat some ramen!", are the shouts that all three of us hear. And by all three of us, I mean me, Sakura, and Sasuke. Silence is all that greets us until, Sakura opens her big mouth and says, "That was not what I expected it to be." In agreement, I nod my head. Very unexpected.
Karma's POV
It's been a long time since I've left. And I came back to see my cousin as a ninja. "Karma-kun! Since it's been like how many years since you've left Konoha?", Naruto exclaims. "About seven years, Naruto." "Yeah, seven years. You owe me seven birthday presents." "That doesn't matter right now." Ichiraku's looked the same as it did before. It was a relief to see Teuchi-san and his daughter, Ayame still working hard there. They seemed almost surprised to see me there, but were welcoming. Naruto being the ramen-loving kid he always was, emptied my wallet.
"Naruto we need to go now. I have to head to the hokage tower soon. Hokage-sama would want to know that I returned." Giving Teuchi-san the bill and a goodbye we left. Me and Naruto split paths once we made it to his apartment. Leaving me walking to my destination alone.
Knocking on the door, I heard a cranky old man's voice telling me to come in. So, he didn't retire yet. It's a relief to here his voice. I am very happy that he isn't dead yet from all the paper work needed to be done.
Opening the door slowly I said, "Good to see you again, Hokage-sama".
