The small hand wrapping around the big finger of his mother's. The boy was jealous that people had such kind parents while he had none. He didn't even have any friends to play with. A loner. He just swinged by himself waiting for someone to approach him. He looked down at his sandals. Dark blue.

A hand was placed on top of his golden-colored hair. He looked up to meet crimson eyes that reminded him of a dragon. "How's it going bud?," his soft voice was something the blond loved to hear. "Great! Now that you're here you can push the swing! And I could reach all the way into the clouds!," he shouted happily at the ninja. "So you want to be up high all the way there, Naru-chan? I know a better way to go up their then going on the swing. Do you want me to tell you?" He nodded his head furiously. "Okay. Ready?," he grabbed on to the smaller boy's waist. Pulled him up to the air, where the 3 year-old spread his arms and flapped like a bird.

Weeing all the way to a small house near a river. Their home. They've lived there for a long time. Naruto spent three whole years there. While Karma, had lived there since . . . Well, for a long time. No one knew, not even the Hokage.

The blond peeked through the kitchen counter where his cousin was cooking something that smelled different from his favorite food, ramen. The blond couldn't see a thing because of how short he was. He went on his tippy-toes, trying hard to see what was in the pot his guardian was stirring. He wasn't successful and only reached up to the bottom of the pot. He blamed his short and stubby legs.

"What are you making Ka-chan? It doesn't smell like ramen," he asked, still trying to get a good view. The eldest chuckled, noticing the action. The blond was clueless as to why his cousin had laughed at him, but chose not to question it. "Naruto, do you want to meet my friend?," He asked. "Yes, but what does that have to do with the food? What are you making?"

"I promise you'll like it. You'll see."

An odd memory that Naruto would never forget. It was important to him. He couldn't seem to let it go. He was introduced to someone he was familiar with . . . Iruka, his sensei. Or at least his old sensei.

Author's Note- *gasp* Karma is friends with Iruka. Nothing suspicious, not at all. Anyway, do you guys want like about three short chapters every week or or one long chapter every two weeks? Tell me in the comments.
