CHAPTER 19

Sofia's POV
Me and Hugo were at the doctors for check up. They told us that we can hear today baby's heatbeat.
Im so nervous but happy at the same time.

"My love are you ready to go?" Hugo asked me.

"Yes love." i smiled as i took his hand and give it a light squeeze.

I receive a squeeze in return.

We were soon at the hospital and waiting for our turn to go in.
Doctor finally came and called us.
I felt butterflies as we went in speacial room and was seater on seat to lay down while holding my belowed's hand.

"Hey, calm down you're trembling." he lightly chuckled at me.

"I can't help myself. I feel se nervous. We're gonna hear our baby today. WE'RE GONNA HEAR A BABY THAT IS GROWING INSIDE OF ME."
I starter to breath repeatedly.

"You really need to calm down." he smiled so sweetly.

"Okay." i took a deep breath before calming down.

Doctor:Hello Hugo and Sofia. Back already? Nice to have you here again

Hugo:Hello.
Sof:Hi.

Doctor: As i told you on the phone, today day is special. You're gonna hear your baby's heartbeat. Isn't that so adorable?

She almost let a squeal but contain herself as she was remembered she was at her workplace.

I almost let a laugh too because of her actions.

Sof: When do we start?

Doctor: Right now.

She gave us a pair of headphones and putting some kindnof gel on my stomach. Attached some cabels that were connected from my tummy to the headphones.

(A/N:im not sure how you do it? But this should be fine right?)

Me and Hugo were ready to hear the heartbeat. Doctor looked at us, waiting for approval to turn on the headphones. We both gave a firm nod.

And then.....

Ba-doom

The heartbeat.

My baby's heartbeat. Our baby's heartbeat. This is so precious. I was beginning to cry and looked at Hugo to see him already crying.
He looks at me and gave me a sweet kiss, i happily returned the kiss.

Hugo: Wow its just... Just....

Sof: Beautiful...

Hugo: Yeah. It makes me feel so at ease and comforted. I want listen to it all day.

I chuckled at him.

Doctor: Im sure this day was special to you but there's two more days that will be speacial to you also.

Hugo: Birth

Sof: And gender reveal.

Doctor: Yeah. We can tell the gender soon enough. So you'll probably know it by next time.

Hugo: I don't wanna know.

Sof: What why?

Hugo: I don't care if its a boy or a girl. Im just happy that its healthy and be soon with us. I want to be suprised.

When i think about it. He's right. I was thinking like that too but didn't thought of getting to know the gender soon.

Sof: You know what? I agree with you. I had the same thought without realising it.

Doctor: If that's what you both want then i won't tell you. I can tell you family if you want.

Sof: Yeah, they can throw us a gender reveal party then.

Hugo: Sounds good to me. Then just call and tell them then.

Doctor: I'll make sure i will.

We left the hospital still in tears.

"I can't believe we just heard that little heartbeat of that precious angel." Hugo said.

"Mhm, i can't believe it either."

Will is calling me? Hm i wonder what is it.

"Hey Will, what's up?"

"Oh nothing. Just wandering if you want to go hang out. Like you and Hugo with me and Victor."

"Oh.." i looked at Hugo. He looked at me confused but nodded anyway.

"Yeah sure." i replied.

"Okay great. Meet us at Caffee at 3 pm near Rose street."

"Deal. See you later." i hang up.

"It's weird he want us to hang all together." Hugo mentioned.

"Yeah, but still, maybe they really wanna catch up."

"Okay then will go."
I punched him in the arm.

"What kind of answer is that?" the he laughed at me and i started laughing with him. Idiot. My cute idiot.

Hii guys im back. So i took some time to properly think about the ending and everything. Yes, unfortunately this book is close to an end. But don't be sad, ill make book 3 only for side stories.

Anyway i thought about the ending a lot until i was satisfied with it.

When i finish this book ill do Q&A anything you ask me, like why is the ending like that? Or how old are they right now? Or how they finish school and all that?

So yeah prepare some questions here and I'll answer them at the end.
