Meanwhile, in King Andy's castle...
"No sign of her yet, Hamish" said King Andy.
"Of course not. Good half hour till sunset" said King Hamish as he pigged out at a buffet table.
He looked at his friend and said "Oh now, come, man. Wake up! Battle's over. Girl's as good as here"
"I'm sorry, Hamish. But after sixteen years of worrying, never knowing..." King Andy began.
"The past! All in the past" said King Hamish.
He clapped his hand and a maid brought wine over to the two kings.
"Tonight, we toast the future with something I've been saving for sixteen years" said King Hamish.
He and King Andy sang about their toast.
Skumps, skumps
A toast to this night
The outlook is rosy, the future is bright
Our children will marry, our kingdoms unite
Skumps, skumps, skumps
"Excellent" said King Andy.
"Yes. And now, to the new home, eh?" said King Hamish.
"New home?" said King Andy.
"Yes. Children need a home of their own. Place to raise their little brood, eh?" said King Hamish.
"Well, I suppose in time..." said King Andy.
"Of course! To the home!" said King Hamish.
Skumps, skumps
A toast to the home
One grander by far than a palace in roam
Let me fill up your glass. That glass was all foam
Skumps, skumps, skumps
"Well, what do you think? Nothing elaborate of course. Forty bedrooms, dining hall... honeymoon cottage really" said King Hamish.
"You mean you're building it already?" said King Andy.
"Built, man! Finished. Lovebirds can move in tomorrow" said King Hamish.
"Tomorrow? But, Hamish, they're not even married yet" said King Andy.
"We'll take care of that tonight. To the wedding!" said King Hamish.
"Now, Hamish! I haven't even seen my daughter yet and you're taking her away from me" said King Andy.
"Getting my Murray are you?" said King Hamish.
"Yes, but..."
"Wanna see our grandchildren don't we?"
"Yes, but..."
"Well, then let us get it done. Getting on in years. To the wedding!" said King Hamish.
"Now be reasonable, Hamish. After all, Justine knows nothing about all this" said King Andy.
"Well?"
"Well, it may come as quite a shock to her" said King Andy.
King Hamish got mad at those words.
"My Murray a shock? What's wrong with my Murray?" he said.
"Nothing, Hamish. I only meant..." said King Andy.
"Why doesn't your daughter like my son? I'm not so sure my son likes your daughter!" King Hamish shouted.
"Now see here!" said King Andy.
"I'm not so sure my grandchildren want YOU for a grandfather!" King Hamish yelled.
"Why, you... you unreasonable, pompous, blustering old windbag!" said King Andy.
"Unreasonable, pompous... en garde, sir!" said King Hamish using a fish as a sword.
"I warn you, Hamish! This means war" said King Andy.
"Forward! For honor! For country! For..." King Hamish yelled.
Before he could say anything else, the fish gave out from smacking a plate that King Andy was using as a sheild.
The two kings started laughing when they realized they were fighting with a fish and a plate.
"What's this all about anyway?" said King Hamish.
"Nothing, Hamish. Absolutely nothing" said King Andy.
"Children are bound to fall in love" said King Hamish.
"Precisely. And as for grandchildren, I'll have the royal woodcarver start working on the cradle tomorrow" said King Andy.
"Splendid. King size of course" said King Hamish.
"Of course. To the woodcarver's guild" said King Andy.
