46. Counter strike.
Dilmi's P.O.V
We had Crystal erect a stone wall from the ground, mailing the opening in the wall smaller. She was unable to close it all due to the size of the actual wall.
Borko had the entire army retreat behind the inner wall, food was stocked and we were planning for a counter attack.
We stood at a war table. With an extremely detailed map of the region. Sienna was going through notes and papers for Borko, while Sky was detaining a tied up man.
"Do you want me to compel him so that he will cooperate?" I asked Sky who just shrugged. I kneeled next to the man. Analysing his face. He had a massive chunk of his jaw stiched up, dried blood all over his face. He had dark brown eyes and plain brown hair. His face was also round with a small mole under his left nostril. I could feel his anger radiating off of him.
"We need to re think our strategy. We have most of the city back again and with your capture Rohan, I can make an example of you." Borko stated. "Azazel, you're going to lead the aerial attack over the plains. Take seven units and launch a strike on the main camp. Joan you are going to take three units and launch a raid with the cavalry. Wipe out the units on the coast. You will be supported by Riley, who will launch the second unit on the coast. Goju, take two units and the three and attack the hilly plains. Crystal... Launch a fire attack on their front and riverside camp, and their makeshift armory. Ace. Take two of my best men, they will lead you to an ambush unit waiting in the mountains, make them forget their orders. Then kill them all. You will then bring this unit back and hang them from the walls. Sky and Sienna, you will launch an attack on their supply lines from the south. I have contacted our arriving reinforcements, they have gone around so we can launch a pincer attack. I want a full march. I will lead a surprise attack through the northern forest where we left off before the timeless room was destroyed. We are going to end this insane uprising." Borko ordered.
He was more determined than ever to protect this city. I could sense something different about Rohan now. I looked and his wounds began to heal. The next thing I knew, he had turned into Armaund tackled Borko to the ground. As soon as he touched him, Borko started screaming in immense pain. There was a symbol on his forehead slowly appearing, his hair turned a lighter blonde and his eyes turned lighter, tealish. I watched as Azazel tackled Amaund and detained him again. I walked up to Armaund and placed my hand on his head. Sending radiowaves through his head, compelling him to fall a sleep.
"What's happening to him?" Courtney almost sreamed.
"Azazel, do you recognise this mark?" Joan asked worriedly as she cradled and tightly held Borko. Everyone rushed over. To see the mark.
"Borko never told you any of this, but Borko is considered a mixed breed I could say. He is part lightlord and homomaji, but he is also part valkyrie and has the smallest portion of angel blood in him. Not enough to give him angel physiology or powers or anything related to being one. But his family and yours are by blood, technically distant cousins. But your mother, Akiya and I were very close when we where much younger. Akiya was like an older sister to us, she even taught me how to fly." He looked down at Borko. "And his father's great grandfather was the only known male nymph. That blood runs through his brain. That symbol is a mark of magus. Its when there has been so much magic imbued into one person that their body naturally stores it in a magical vessel."
But what did this mean?
Dei's P.O.V
I launched a fire attack on the enemie's main camp, and reinforcments were sent to the city. The last of the enemies either surrendered or killed. I watched as the red blaze rose, black smoke lighting the signal of victory as it rose to the heavens. I stared hard towards city walls, most of it had remained in tact, and with such a small force, It was the first time I ever felt afraid of Borko. Sure he was loud and crazy and his mind may be in the gutter, he is absolutely terrified of insects and constantly day dreams, but when he focuses, he is a force to be reckoned with.
