8 months later

Yes, 8 months.

AN. This is gonna be a catch up part. You'll see what Mia did in these past 8 months with different people. I hope you enjoy it.

TONY
You and your dad got a lot closer over these 8 months, though you still didn't call him dad. You didn't feel ready. These are some of the things you did.
-
Car-

"Okay, I cannot drive this thing." Mia

"You can. I believe in you." Tony

"Yes well believing in me may just get you killed." Mia

"Come on, honey." Tony

Mia starts driving incredibly slow.

"Okay, now pick up the speed." Tony

"Don't you think we're going fast enough?" Mia

"We're going 10 miles an hour, pick up the speed." Tony

"Fine." Mia

Mia slowly picks up the speed.

"Keep your hands on the wheel until you're changing gears." Tony

"Why did you think it would be a good idea to teach me how to drive?" Mia

"Because you're 18 and you need to learn. People can't drive you around all the time." Tony

"But I think I might actually kill myself in one of these things." Mia

"You'll be fine." Tony

"What if I crash? I'll ruin your car." Mia

"You're not going to crash and I don't care about the car." Tony

"But-" Mia

"Stop talking and concentrate." Tony

"Fine." Mia
-

Living room-

"I got my licence!" Mia

Tony engulfs her in a hug before lifting her up and spinning her around.

"I told you you could do it." Tony

"Thank you." Mia

"No problem, baby. Here." Tony

Tony hands her keys.

"You didn't." Mia

"I did." Tony

"But this is too much, too expensive-" Mia

"Honey, it's your car." Tony

"But-" Mia

"Don't even try and give me it back, it's paid for and it's in your name." Tony

"Thank you." Mia

Mia kisses his cheek.

"Now we don't have to give you a lift everywhere." Tony

"Oh shut up." Mia

"I'm proud of you, baby." Tony

"I couldn't have done it without you." Mia
-

Living room-

"Mia!" Tony

"Why is Mr. Stark, yelling at Mia?" Peter

"I don't know, maybe she stayed up in the lab all night again." Steve

Mia runs past them full sprint.
