Part 18, A Year Later~

1 year later

Yes, you read right. One year later.

Mia and Steve went to being best friends, they spent a lot of time together but nothing ever happened between them. She loved the relationship she had with Steve and she was really grateful that James didn't care how close they were and trusted her enough to not sleep with him again. She knows he was a bit wary at first because of the lingering feelings but he soon learned that he had absolutely nothing to worry about. Mia and Steve were friends and they would remain friends.

Mia and Tony got even closer than they were before and although Tony didn't exactly like Bucky and Mia being together he saw how happy he made his daughter and for him, that was enough. As long as Bucky didn't hurt Mia, he would allow them to be together. It took him a while to get used to Mia being with Bucky as they used to hate each other, well that's what Bucky led everyone to believe anyway. Mias and Tony's relationship may have improved but at the same time nothing changed because they acted the same but there was a lot more trust and comfort between the two of them. Mia told him everything, well almost everything. She left out her sex life and he left out his, thank god.

Peter and Mia were their usual selves when together. Wreaking havoc and driving everyone insane but that was their job as the youngsters. They constantly confused everyone by using the 21st century slang and it was entertaining for them to hear them try and figure out what they actually meant. Loki obviously knew because he could read minds but he didn't tell the others as he also enjoyed to see the confusion on their faces. Nothing happened between them since they slept together and to be honest, they both completely forgot it happened. Even Peter did, even though she was his first time.

Thor and Mia trained together pretty frequently but he never even attempted to make a move because of her relationship with Bucky. That still didn't change anything between them. They were still the same as they used to be, if not closer. They also always went to get food together because it was something they loved to do. Thor even ended up taking Mia to Asgard for a visit. Mia absolutely loved it there, she thought it was beautiful and Thor promised that he'd take her again one day. That day was still yet to come but Mia would definitely hold him to his promise.

Mia and Bruce's relationship had changed a little. They started opening up to each other a little more. The both of them were very closed off but as they spent more time together they started to get even more comfortable with each other and started telling each other things they never thought they'd tell each other. Mia didn't mind and neither did Bruce, they both enjoyed the growth in their friendship and welcomed it.

Clint and Mia still went to the animal shelter every Saturday unless they were on missions. That became their thing, nobody even attempted to take Clint's place. They loved going together not just because they both enjoyed going to see the animals but because they always had a catch up on things going on as they didn't usually see each other much during the week. It was never awkward with Clint that was for sure, he always had something to say and Mia was grateful because sometimes she had no idea what to say around him.

Nat and Mia were closer than ever and they told each other everything. Like literally everything. Neither of them judged the other and it was like a safe space for the both of them to talk and free their emotions. Nat even cried a few times which Mia was shocked about since Nat hated showing any type of emotion. But Mia just held her in her arms until she felt better again. The same thing happened the other way round, Mia would cry and Nat would just hold her until she stopped. Nat and Bucky were quite close so when Bucky screwed up Nat was straight onto it and lectured him until he apologised. It was quite funny to see Bucky nearly shit himself when Nat was yelling at him.

Loki and Mia didn't sleep with each other again. Loki respected that she had feelings for Bucky and didn't even attempt to sleep with her again. He saw how happy she was with him and that made him feel better. Him and Mia had always been quite close though nobody really knew it except for each other. I guess it's because of how much they had in common, which was actually quite a lot though you may not think so.
