Due to practices, Nova had not been able to attend Harry's class as she had planned to. However, as September faded into November, she was able to come.
But she didn't tell Harry.
"'Ello, Min Min!" Nova greeted as she strolled through her maternal figure's office.
"Merlin help us. The demon spawn is here," Severus's portrait sneered.
"Bitch!" Lily flipped him off.
"Look!" Nova pointed to Snape's portrait. "It's the greasy dungeon bat that spent his adult life harassing students because he couldn't get laid by the married woman he was obsessed with!"
Most of the portraits tried their hardest to hold back their laughter.
"Hello, Phineus," Nova turned to her ancestor as she completely ignored Dumbledore. "How's Grimmauld looking?"
"Lonely," He informed.
"Well, I planned on remodeling it," Nova frowned. "I guess it'll have to wait a while."
"Hello, Nova," Minerva grinned as she sat at her desk.
"I've got you a present!" Nova sang as she placed the wrapped box on her desk.
"If this is a positive pregnancy test, I'm murdering my new Defense professor," Minerva stated. "Then I'm retiring."
"It's not . . ." she clarified through her thick red blush.
Looking satisfied with Nova's answer, Minnie began to open the present.
"Besides," Nova rolled her eyes teasingly as she recovered from her initial blush. "You won't retire. You love us Marauder Offspring too much. It keeps your life interesting."
"'Marauder Offspring'" Alex laughed. "I can't with her anymore!"
"Burn!" Lily yelled. "You fucking-"
"I kinda wish she was around when we were at Hogwarts," James commented. "Things would have been some much more interesting."
"Yeah!" Marlene agreed. "Can't one of you grow a uterus and produce that bad bitch early?"
"Technically she came from a machine with our DNA," Remus rolled his eyes. "And we would be literally infants."
"I don't wanna be dad at one!" Sirius panicked. "I'm not hot enough!"
"I'm sure it wasn't-" Alex began.
"Oh no. It was bad," Regulus confirmed.
"Merlin's beard!" Minnie exclaimed as she held up the jersey. "You made it!"
Nova grinned happily.
"Thought I'd give you my very first professional jersey signature," Nova shrugged. "You're the one that suggested I should try out for chaser in the first place."
"When's our first game?" Minnie asked as she pulled Nova into a hug.
"November 15," Nova answered as they pulled away. "It hasn't gone public yet. I'm sorta a secret weapon right now. I'll be announced for the first game to the public eye."
"Why not go with the Harpies?"
"I thought it'd be more revolutionary if I went to Puddlemere," Nova stated. "Besides, the whole theme song basically says, 'Get them, boys'. Thought I'd make sure the little girls of the world know they can do everything a man does."
"Remus and Sirius would be proud of you," Minerva said with a tearful smile.
"Thanks, Min," Nova smiled. "I'll see ya later! Gotta annoy the new DADA professor!"
