As promised, Teddy had gone to his friend's house for the night. He was over joked and absolutely ecstatic. He was talking about it none stop days prior to his visit. As they got in the car, Teddy was shaking with excitement and nerves.
The Parkers turned out to be a wonderful family. Nova learned Mister and Misses Parker are muggleborns that attended a Wizarding school in Egypt.
As of right now, Potter Manor was peaceful. Molly insisted upon watching the twins today. Teddy was at his friends. This left Harry and Nova alone with the zoo and the house elves.
The two twenty-four year olds were on the couch. Harry lay on his back with his head on the armrest as his arms were around his wife's torso. Nova lay with her back against the back of the couch as she curled into Harry side. Nova's head rested on Harry's chest as one of his hand played with her hair.
The only noise in the house was the sound of the music in the background. The sound of Harry's rhythmic heartbeat almost lulled Nova to sleep when Harry spoke.
"Are you awake?"
"No," Nova mumbled into his chest.
Harry's chest shook with laughter and Nova smiled.
"Goodnight, love," Harry said as he kissed the top of her head.
Ron Weasley walked through the fireplace at Potter Manor to see his two best friends asleep on the couch.
Now a normal person would leave, but Ron didn't.
"Nova," he whispered. "Harry."
"Fuck off, Ronald," Nova growled. "It's Harry Time."
"Yeah, Ronald," Harry said as he opened one of his green eyes.
"You two lovebirds sit there then," Ron shrugged. "I'll just raid your kitchen."
"You do that," Harry nodded.
"Eat my chocolate and you won't be having any offspring," Nova threatened.
"That's my daughter," Remus grinned. "I taught her well."
"I'm still confused how she can be so intimidating as she snuggles into Harry's chest," Dorcas stated. "It makes absolutely no sense."
"We discussed this before," Marlene said. "You have to take all your expectations and expect them to be drop kicked out the door by Nova. There's no other way of life."
Nova smiled as she curled herself deeper into Harry's chest. They got to spend some quality time together. It was peace-
CRASH!
"Ronald!" Nova swore as she rolled off the couch.
Harova strolled in their kitchen to see their ginger friend covered head-to-toe in flour. He was in a coughing fit as he waved his hand, trying to get rid of the flour cloud.
"Scourgify," Nova said as she waved her wand. "What the actual bloody fucking he did you do?"
"I was trying to get the cookies . . . " Ron said sheepishly.
"I can get Wheezy some cookies," Callie offered.
"Could you?" Ron asked and Callie nodded. "Thanks."
"Not that we don't love you being here, but what are you doing here?" Harry asked as the trio sat around the island.
"Oh I had a favor to ask Nova," Ron stated.
