when the twins arrived at home y/n immediately introduced the kitten to its new home. y/n found out that the kitten was a mix of calico cats and maine coone cats through a quick google search. she also found out the kitten is a girl. she went off to build the kitten a bed. she grabbed a old pillow of hers and some fabric and got to work as her brother made dinner. she had already introduced the kitten to max but the kitten got scared and it clawed up her arm hissing at the big dog. as she built the bed for the cat she tried coming up with names.
"luna! no.. spots?... no... violet?" she talked to herself looking at the kitten. she then got an idea. "how about you choose your name!" she said excitedly. the kitten looked at her and perked her ears. "i'll take that as an okay. so.. spots!" the cat flattened its ears.
"guess thats a no" y/n sighed. "luna!" the cat kept its ears flat. "midnight!" the ears were still flat.
"ezmia!" the ears were still flat. "olivia!" still flat ears. "come on! you dont want to be named after THE olivia hye? im about to drop you off in the street again."
"okay fine, vivi" the cats ears perked up. y/n's face brightened. "oh my god this cat IS an orbit!" she grabbed the kitten and hugged her.
"so vivi it is?" y/n asked the cat who looked at her when she said vivi. "thats a yes i suppose" y/n smiled. y/n spent the rest of the evening building vivi a home and doing the usual routine. eat dinner, wash dishes, homework, shower and finally, sleep. she placed vivis bed at the foot of her own bed and she got comfortable in her bed. she grabbed her squishmallow and hugged it tightly as she got her head comfortable. she closed her eyes and still thought about the boy from the convenience store but tried her best to ignore the thoughts.

"hey y/n did you get enough sleep last night?" daichi asked her.
"yup!" she smiled at him.
"glad to hear that" daichi said as he walked away from her to do captain things. morning practice went on like usual then it was time to start class, which also went on like usual. the school day passed like a flash and it was time for after school practice. when y/n was looking for her kneepads to get changed, she came across a bigger pair instead, her brothers kneepads.
"hey daichi" daichi turned towards the girl. "what is it?" he asked her.
"my brother has my kneepads we must have gotten them confused is it alright if i go ahead and head to his school to get mine back from him?" she asked him.
"uhh yeah sure just make sure to get back in time to get some practice in."
"okay thank you so much! i promise to be right back!" she ran off, still in her school uniform.
