~August 1976~
There were no thoughts running through my head. It was completely empty. All I could think of were Roger's cold lips pressed against mine.
He had completely taken me by surprise. I had almost tripped over the couch when I walked back as he held me. My first instinct was to push him away, possibly slap him.
But after a few seconds, I dropped those instincts and pulled him closer to me. I know long ago there was a time where I would be bouncing off the walls during this moment. But time had passed, and so had my feelings. At least I think they did.
Finally, I pulled away from Roger, trying to catch some breath. Roger still held his hands around my cheeks, definitely feeling the warmth that was rushing to them. I looked up towards him, meeting his eyes with mine, trying to figure out what the hell had just happened.
I wanted to say something to him, but I couldn't figure out what to find out first. "Wait, wait, how did you find where I lived?" Oh great Elizabeth. That's of course the most dire thing you wanted to know right now.
"Paul. First time I ever asked him for a favor." He then pulled me closer to him again, clashing my lips with his. Again, I completely melted into the kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck while simultaneously trying to keep my shirt level enough to not reveal the rest of my body.
I couldn't believe this was seriously happening. Just a few hours ago, I was yelling at this guy for constantly berating me and making me feel useless. And now, I was snogging him in my flat while I was half-naked.
"Okay wait, where did this all come from?"
Clearly, Roger was ancy for something, because as soon as I pulled away from him again, he rolled his eyes. I noticed his feet begin to tap the floor, which only made me want to make him wait even longer. "Do I really have to explain it all right now darling?"
"I think it would be nice to know considering..."
"Okay look. Could we just discuss this tomorrow morning? I mean, there's a perfectly good bed in the other room, and you and I both know we've been waiting for this for a long time." I stared up in his sparkling blue eyes, debating both options I had in front of me. We could stay up late and talk all this over, probably fall asleep on the couch in each other's arms. Or, we could use my recently cleaned bed that Roger clearly wanted to get to.
Kicking back the front door with my foot, I hopped up into Roger's arms, catching him off-guard. He grabbed my legs and hoisted me up, craning his neck forward to meet my lips one last time. I couldn't help but giggle under my breath trying to take in everything that had just happened. And to think, I was thinking of calling in fake sick to Reid tonight.

Rolling over, I startled myself slightly as I opened my eyes. For a split second, I had forgotten everything that had happened last night. Roger was still sound asleep, snoring rather loudly. I had to bite the side of my mouth to stop myself from bursting out in laughter.
Since he was still asleep, it gave me some time to stop and think about myself. I mean clearly, I had no idea where Roger stood with the two of us. But, it would be better to know what I thought before we talked.
He had always caught my eye, there was no denying that. But I thought that the actual potential feelings I had built up for a while were long gone, especially after I got with Thomas. It certainly seemed like no too long ago Roger felt the same way. Over the past few weeks, he had been cycling through an array of girls, swapping out one after another after they stayed for a little too long.
