Reunited

Chapter 3

After Komaru and Makoto got cut off during their call, they were about to find Kirigiri. However, they stumbled upon Kyosuke, whom is surprised to see Yukizome alive

Kyosuke: Y-Yukizome...
__

As soon as she heard his voice, Yukizome turned her head to where the voice came from, still blindfolded. Naegi and Asahina suddenly felt a shiver running down their spine when Munakata found Yukizome coming with them

Kyosuke: Yukizome-
__

A glass broke between them. Gekkogahara, someone they found out that she's actually a robot, saw Munakata. She then got beheaded by Munakata's new katana, but since she's a robot, she was able to put back her head in her body. She turned into 'berserker mode' and fought with Munakata while Naegi, carried by Asahina, and the others escaped

Kyosuke: Yukizome!
__

He shouted for Yukizome, but she didn't listen to him and still followed Naegi to find Kirigiri.

Eventually, they were able to find Kirigiri, along with Ryota Mitarai. But Kirigiri was unconsciously saying facts about Naegi that she didn't notice them listening behind her.

Makoto was blushing, Aoi was simply smiling at Kyoko, Chiaki was just giving them thumbs up and Chisa was covering her mouth, muttering that "the ship is about to sail soon". Kyoko cleared her throat, while slightly embarrassed at what she said about Naegi.

(I have no idea what she was drinking in episode 9, so let's go for tea)

Kirigiri sips her tea as the others processed what she had told them about her investigation

Makoto: So, we're under the sea?

Chisa: It must've took a lot of effort to replicate the building, although there were some things they forgot to replicate

Kyoko: Nanami-san, you're not a participant of this game. Meaning you weren't kidnapped unlike what happened to us, so you should know that this is a replication

Chiaki: Oh right., I forgot to mention that

Ryota: H-how did you forgot about that??

Chiaki: Something made me slip that information out of my mind

Makoto: But why go so far as replicating it...?

Kyoko: So, Togami-kun is already on his way?

Makoto: Ah- yeah. Looking at the time, he should be here at any minute but...

Naegi and Asahina got worried for a moment, before speaking again

Makoto: I wonder if something happened outside.... If so, then it must be my fault

Kyoko: Hm? What's wrong?

Makoto: W-well, they told me that someone will die because of me
__

The thought of it made Nanami and Yukizome remember what they saw after the third time limit. However, Nanami still haven't realize that Yukizome knew about it

Kyoko: It's rather rare for you to look weak, did Vice Chairman Munakata tell you something?

Makoto: Up until now, I've always thought that maybe I could've done something more. But, I'm the most powerless here... It might just be as Munakata-san said, maybe my word have no power at all-

Kyoko: I don't think so at all. The power of the words that you've always believe in, didn't it become everyone's hope? I was also one of those. Have confidence in yourself, isn't that bit of optimism what's great about you? Hope is contagious. If your power isn't enough, we're here. Everyone is here

Naegi got taken back at what Kirigiri told him. He smiled at her and nodded, making Asahina happy while Yukizome fainted at what she heard and called "a wholesome moment".

Sakakura and Munakata were walking down the hallways, finding who remains as survivors. Sakakura told the vice chairman that Izayoi is dead and that Kimura have been killed by the attacker. He stopped talking when Munakata was just staring at him. Munakata told him that Tengan is also dead and that he was the one the killed him, but he didn't told Sakakura about Yukizome still alive. He then encouraged Munakata that he can be the chairman and that the world will be better, with Sakakura helping him

Kyosuke: The world, huh... Hey, Sakakura... You've been with me since we were in school, haven't you?

Juzo: Y-yeah...

Kyosuke: Those days were good. You were there, Yukizome was there... We just had to keep on moving forward, towards our ideals... And there were reliable upperclassmen. And Tengan would give me guidance. I deeply believe that the world would change, that I could change it. The ideals I had back then are still within me...

Sakakura was simply staring at his childhood friend while Munakata was talking to him

Juzo: Yeah, I also believe in your ideals. I've always thought it was my calling to support you

Kyosuke: That's right Sakakura. Because of you two, I could make it this far

Juzo: Munakata, there's something I have to tell you.... Actually-

Kyosuke: That's enough

Munakata walked up to him and stabbed Sakakura as he spilled blood. Sakakura collapsed as his wound is bleeding

Juzo: W-why... Why...?

Kyosuke: You should know why, Sakakura
__

Munakata turned his back on Sakakura and walked away, as he sheathed his katana, leaving Sakakura on the ground, bleeding to death

Kyosuke: I'm sure you'll understand, Yukizome, for what I did. However, you'll pay for making me kill him, Despair...
__

Yukizome suddenly felt anxiety crawling on her back while the others were talking about the attacker's moves

Kyoko: Yukizome-san, is something wrong?

Chisa: It's just, an uneasy feeling. As if, something terrible happened... But I hope it was nothing

Kyoko: I see...
__

Kirigiri went back to the conversation as Yukizome was thinking what she had felt earlier. Did something happen? Are they in trouble?

Did someone get killed?

She won't be able to search for the answers she's looking for while in the situation she's in, but Yukizome hoped that Munakata and Sakakura is still safe....

....Or so she thought
