Chapter Twenty Three: Honesty

I always think of Izuku and Ochaco like it'd be their song. Especially if your a manga reader like I am. Shhh! No spoilers! 😖🥺

A week later...

Third Person

A week has passed since the fight. There was a fire and UA was under construction. The students of UA were given permission to stay home. Today was everyone's first day back. Izuku Midoriya walked into the gates of UA. A smile appeared on his face. It was like being there all over again. He entered the gate passing near by students. To see his best friend Tenya Ida and his girlfriend Ochaco Uraraka.

"Good Morning Midoriya! I never got to thank you for what you did. It was very noble and brave of you so allow me as class rep to thank you."

Tenya Ida greeted his friend bowing in front of him.

He shook his hand firmly.

Izuku gestured his hands and nervously laughed.

He patted Ida's shoulder.

"It's great to see you too Ida. I wouldn't give myself all the credit we all did our parts. I couldn't have done it without you guys with me."

The boy rotated to the girl behind him. Ochaco's face gleamed at the sight of him. Izuku eyes linked with Ochaco's they filled each other like always.

She swung her arms around her boyfriend.

Giggling she gave him a soft smile.

"He's not wrong. You truly are a hero Deku. Outside and in you defended the school and saved me. We are all in your gratitude. Their is nothing wrong giving yourself praise once and while."

The pretty brunette in front of him said. He reeled her closer and kissed her. Izuku embraced her as they interlock their fingers together.

The couple walk in the building to class.

Deku opened the door for her. They went in together everyone started at them. He changed and smiled. Izuku could tell Ochaco was a little embarrassed as well. They both look down their cheeks flushed red.

"Oh! I knew it my ship has sailed! I can now finally have peace."

Ashido announced slumping her head on the desk.

"I'm so proud of you girl. You have to tell me the deets later. That's my best friend! Ribbit. Ribbit."

Asui chimed in clapping her hands.

Being the supporting best friend she always was.

"I mean it was obvious the entire time. Plus Midoriya's mentality and persona have really grown over time. Especially on the battlefield I was impressed as well. Uraraka is a very lucky girl."

Yayorouzu demonstrated.

In a very earnest analytic way. 

"Who says she's the only one?"

Ida complimented her commented.

He gave her a wink she gave him one back.

"Can you all tone it down?! So the nerds got a girlfriend. It's not a big deal so stop making it!"

Bakugo proclaimed rolling his eyes annoyed.

Same old Kacchan with a different vibe.

"That's so manly. I'm happy for them."
