Lena's POV

I stumble out of the taxi, the weight of my suitcase lurging me forward. The driver said nothing, well nothing I could understand because it was in French. Now I'm standing at the side of a road. No campside in sight. I take out my phone to plan a route. I gasp when I see that I still have to walk roughly 15 kilometres.

'Thanks, Jess.' I mutter to myself.

I am exhausted when I arrive at the reception. They tell me I will be staying at spot 178 which is at the edge of the campside. Great, because it isn't like I have done enough walking yet. The spot isn't far away from the swimmingpool, but far enough that the noise is cancelled. There are trees that provide shadow and it looks very beautiful. I take one more turn and- my heart stops. My neighbour is HOT.

She is lying in a hammock on my spot and she's only wearing a salmon pink bikini. She has closed her eyes so I shamelessly stare at her for a bit. She has curves in the right places, a subtle sixpack and her arms are muscled. And her LEGS. They are long and skinny. It's a heavenly sight. Maybe this vacation will be fun after all. I blush and shake of my thoughts. This is inappropriate,

I clear my throat in an attempt to wake the girl so that I could introduce myself. Sadly, I scare the shit out of her so she falls to the ground.

'Shit! I'm so sorry!' I quickly run towards her to help her up.

'No, no it's fine, I'm just get scared so eas-' she locks eyes with me and suddenly the contact between my hand and her arm becomes electrified. She has the most beautiful blue eyes. Like the ocean. She has a bit of freckles too. Her eyes twinkle and we both stay like this for a few seconds.

I chuckle nervously and then move my hand down from her soft arm to shake her hand. 'I'm Lena.'

'Luthor?' her eyes widen and I raise an eyebrow. She gets flustered and stutters a little when she says: 'I interviewed you once.'

'What?'

I rack my brain trying to remember but the only image I have of her right now is her in a bikini.

'I work for CatCo magazine and when you took over Lcorp, I interviewed you.'

'Oh my God, you're Kara! The reporter right?' I thought she was adorable back then. Fiddling with her notebook and being persistent when it came to giving me a chance to prove I actually wanted to do good with the company.

'Yeah, except back then I wasn't a reporter yet.'

'You could've fooled me', we said at the same time. I remember catching her off guard when I said that line to her.

'Yeah', she chuckles, 'turned out you were right.'

'I'm always right.' I give her a wink and she bows her head to hide her blushing face. I'm still not too bad at flirting it turns out. I look at her with amusement as she is trying to find words.

'Pff, small world, huh? Literally, what a coincidence.' She starts. I let the word dance around my head 'coincidence'. The years of playing chess are paying off. This was no coincidence. 'And I thought I'd finally be able to be free from everyone in National City. Shit, no offense! Of course I don't mind you being here, I like it! I like you. Um what-'

I chuckle as I say, 'Kara, it's okay. You seem quite likeable yourself.' I smile at her as an attempt to calm her down.

'I need to go to the toilet. I'll help you with your tent when I get back!'

'That really isn't neces-' I start but she is already gone.

Those eyes of her. Where have I seen them before? Of course, during that interview but somewhere else too. It'll come back to me later. For now, I grab my phone to dial Jess's number.

'Jess!' I say through gritted teeth when she answers.

'What? You don't like your neighbour?'

'You scheming little-'

'Okay hear me out before you get complaints about being too noisy. You know I have a couple of friends at CatCo, right?' I hum. 'Well they told me that Kara was becoming one of the best reporters and all and I wanted to know more about this girl since she sounded very ambitious so I thought maybe you two would be a good match.' I scoff but let her continue. 'So I wanted more juicy details about her, like what is her type? They didn't really know, except...'

'Tell me Jess, before she returns!'

'...she is bisexual.'

'She is?! I mean it's none of my business. I am just going to enjoy my alone time here. She told me she wants to be alone too, so.'

'Uhuh.' I can see her smirking in my mind. Kara is bisexual. Oh my God. I look up and gulp at the sight of a perfect body that can only be Kara's.

'Bye Jess.'

Kara's POV

I am sitting on the toilet with my phone clustered anxiously in my hand. I wait for Alex to pick up the phone.

'Hey, Kara, how are you? I thought you weren't going to use your phone.'

'I wasn't, but this is an emergency!'

'What? What's wrong?'

'You remember when I had an interview with Lena Luthor a few years ago?'

'Oh yes that was hilarious. You were such a bi mess weren't you?'

'Yes, yes I have a weakness for business women I guess. But she's here Alex! She's here!'

Silence.

'Alex, you still there?'

'Oh yeah sorry, I put you on speaker because Maggie wanted to hear too.'

'Alex!'

'Damn little Danvers, so have you made a move already?' Maggie says.

'No! No and I am not going to.' My face turns hot when I think about that wink Lena gave me. She makes my legs weak and I am the girl of steel!

'By the way guys,' I continue, 'this is not just funny because I kind of lost my glasses and now I am walking around without them so I don't get how she hasn't seen yet that I am Supergirl.'

Alex takes over the conversation again and gets serious, 'Kara! Don't you realise that people all around the world know you? So even if Lena wasn't here, people could find out you're Supergirl.'

'I know that, Alex, but I simply can't find them!' Alex clicks her tongue. 'Hey I have to go, I'll take care of this. I'll just wear sunglasses for now or something. Bye!' And with that I hang up. I have to get back to Lena. She must be tired from the journey so I thought I could set her tent.

When I see her, she just hangs up her phone too. I wonder what the conversation was about. Part of me is disappointed that I couldn't use my superhearing. Shame on me.

'Who was that?' Oh Rao it sounded creepy.

'Oh just my assistant. She was wondering how the flight was and all.'

I'm surprised to notice that she is lying. Her heart beats faster than usual. I ask her about the journey and she happily tells me about it while I offer her to lay down in my hammock. After some protest, she does so while I unpack her tent. I told her it's one of my favourite things to do, to set up a tent. That's how I got her to allow me to do it. She yawns and closes her eyes for a bit.

My heart flutters. Maybe it's because I'm in France and because the sun is shining or because I went to the beach today. Yeah that's why. I hum a little melody while I read the instructions. Shit, I have to go looking for my glasses first. I look beside me and I notice that Lena's mouth is a little open and that her arm is almost touching the ground. She has fallen asleep.

Fuck the glasses. I'm not hiding from her.
