Dear Diary!

SHELIA WAS CURRENTLY HOME, AS HUNTER HAD MADE HER STAY HOME FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS, allowing her to have sometime to herself. At first he had been reluctant to let her stay home alone, fearing she may do something to harm herself. After long convincing that she'll be ok he left her alone.

Hunter had spent the few days that Shelia had stayed home worrying, he was terrified he would arrive home and his little sister would be laying lifeless on the floor, no pulse to detect.

Unfortunately for Shelia, she had to attend university again as if she missed to much she may miss valuable content, or even risk being excluded.

Currently the brunette was sat in her business studies lecture, doodling in her notepad not noticing Ryder peering over her shoulder to read.

Dear Stupid Useless Diary,

If you haven't noticed the scars on my arms and thighs. Or the fake smile on me, I force on my lips. Or the forced laugh that I've adapted to using. Or the way I don't care about the things I used to adore. Then don't you dare stand at my grave and cry when I die.  How can you cry for someone that you don't even know?

Signed,
The Quiet Carter Sibling.

A saddened expression overtook Ryder's face, not noticing the bell ring until Shelia began to pack up her stuff rushing over of the classroom causing him to race to catch up to her.

"Slow down cinderella," he joked when he had finally caught up to her. Many people glared at Shelia, jealous she has both Hunter's and Ryder's full attention.

"Yes Ry? Sorry I meant Ryder," she fumbled out, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable with a nickname.

The platinum blonde would never admit, but he loved the nickname she had adapted for him. He usually hated nicknames, but he would make an exception for Shelia any day.

"How you feeling? Since you know the other night..." he questioned cautiously. The blonde couldn't keep her off his mind, he had be thinking about her every second since then.

He was curious about the Carter girl.

"Since I tried to kill myself? I'm fine. Thanks." Shelia muttered bluntly, keeping her head down before going outside to meet her brother, knowing that Ryder was following behind.

Since she had finished her classes for the day, her brother still had lacrosse practice. Shelia would usually stay behind to wait for him, sitting on the bleachers.

Taking a seat in the emptiest space she could find, she desperately just wanted to walk home when Ryder took the seat right next to her.

He took off his jacket handing it over to the shivering girl. "Here." He smiled at her, the smile widening when she gave him a small smile back.

"Ryder! Hey hottie," the annoying squeaky voice of Lyra was heard from behind them. The pair turned to face her at the same time.

"What do you want now, Lyra." Ryder groaned, turning to Shelia he whispered under his breath to her, "This gremlin never leaves me alone."

Shelia let out a small giggle at that, which Ryder laughed back at happy that he got her to smile. None of this going unnoticed by Hunter who had a grin hidden by his helmet.

"So I've got the house all to myself, want to come back to mine? We can do whatever you like," she told him seductively, trailing a finger down his chest.

"I'll pass." Swatting her finger off him, "Never touch me again," he told her lowly, getting up with Shelia as he put his arm around her shoulder, guiding the brunette to her brother as the lacrosse practice had finished.

"Of course! Your going with the girl who begs for attention." The fake blonde shouted after them. Gasping when Ryder turned around putting up his middle finger grinning from ear to ear.

Putting his mouth close to Shelia's ear his warmth breath hit the back of her neck. "Just ignore her, she talks shit on a daily," he whispered into her ear, a shiver ran down her spine at the feeling. "Her ass must be jealous." He joked, his smile widened when he gained another small laughter from Shelia.

"Hunter my brother! That was a fucking amazing goal you scored." Ryder hyped up his best friend, patting his back roughly like they tend to do.

"Cheers. You still coming over with Wyatt today? Think he's already on his way to the house," he responded back, going over to his sister pulling her in for a hug.

"Lia! You're fucking freezing, let's get home," he pointed out. Wrapping his other arm around her rubbing up and down in attempt to warm her up, leading them to the car.

"Yeah I am — can I stay the night? Younger brother is being an annoying little shit." Hunter laughed at his best friend, who often whined about his sibling.

"Don't you practically live at our house already? Might as well make one of the guest bedrooms yours," he half joked, knowing that they both would someday.

"Do it, I'll finally be able to put posters of hot chicks up on wall without my mom making me take them down." He exclaimed excitedly, frowning at the eye roll he received from the boy.

They all got into Hunter's sleek black Range Rover that he loved so dearly. The boys turned on the music loud shouting the lyrics while Shelia sat at the back lost in her own thoughts, she smiled at the boys joy.

Her phone beeped twice signalling she had received a message. Flipping it over she was confused to see it was from a unknown contact.

Unlocking her phone, she scanned over the message 'hey beautiful it's Cole' , making her even more baffled than before.

Why was Cole messaging her?
