Betrayed by All

Percy POV.

I was walking to the Athena cabin. I was exhausted but excited as well. I had finally finished Ole' Cousin Athena's 6-month torture (don't tell her I said that), uhh I mean her 6 months of great tests for me to marry her daughter, Annabeth Chase, my girlfriend. I had gotten Hephaestus to craft a ring with sea green and grey lines. I reached the Athena cabin and asked Malcolm. "Where's Annabeth?" "At the beach," he said. I hurried to the beach where I saw a boy and girl kissing. I looked for Annabeth until I heard the boy say. "When are you going to break up with Percy, Annabeth?' "Noo!" I thought. "ANNABETH!" I yelled. She turned around. "How-how could you!" I cried. "Ugh, you're such a loser Percy. I'm dating Mike Vonn, son of Hephaestus. He's better than you and a much greater kisser" Annabeth said.  "TAKE THIS RING THEN MIKE VONN I WAS GOING TO PROPOSE ANNABETH! HAVE A HAPPY LIFE!" I said sarcastically.  I felt so angry and sad, I ran into the woods. I didn't care that I was causing a huge earthquake. Then Poseidon appeared. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING PERCY!" my dad yelled. "CRYING OVER AN ATHENA SPAWN I HEREBY DISOWN YOU AS A SON!" he yelled and flashed away. I sat down and sobbed. I'd never felt so unhappy.

I stayed in my cabin for a week. No one came to me. When I checked, I understood why. Annabeth and her stupid boyfriend had turned everyone against me. Even my old friends didn't care about me. I decided to go back to my mom's apartment.

I knocked on the door. No reply, the door swung open. I gasped. My mother was lying dead on the floor, her chest was bleeding, her heart looked dead. Paul was near her, a bite mark on his neck, a vegetable knife in his hands. Then I saw something that caused me the most pain. My five-year-old sister had her head in a pool of blood. I held her body, her arms swinging limply as I sobbed. "No!" I yelled.
