Zeus POV.

We had held an annual Olympian Council to discuss why Perseus Jackson had suddenly disappeared. I was more worried about the boy than I'd like to admit. Poseidon was in shambles. "Percy-Percy my son please come back!' he sobbed. Hestia laid a comforting arm on his shoulder. "ARTEMIS!" I called. "Yes, father?" Artemis asked. "I need you to find Percy." "Why me?" Artemis grumbled. "Hunt for a male?" "A disgusting pig?" "Artemis if something happens to Percy, think of Posieodn reaction. Percy has been gone for a year. This is an order. Hunt. For. Perseus and bring him to Olympus" I reasoned with my daughter. She sighed heavily and flashed out. Poseidon was still crying. I walked up to him. Much as I felt awkward, I had to help my family. I laid a hand on Posieodns shoulder. "Hey, big bro, its gonna be okay. And air disasters are always more spectacular than sea disasters." I tried. A small hint of his old smile came on his face. "Wanna bet?" he asked, winking. "Yup!" I said. "ARTEMIS will find him don't worry" I whispered to Poseidon. He smiled. "Thanks, baby bro," he said. "Hey!" I said.

Percy POV.

It has been a year since I left Camp - Half - Hell.  Yeah, that's what I'm calling it after it turned on me. I now live in a disused alley. Not many monsters come to trouble me, the few ones that do, get destroyed. I am starting to get over the pain, but it still feels as fresh as the world after a storm. There have been a lot of storms lately. I wonder what's pissing Zeus off. But I don't care. This is my life now, and it sucks. Then a goddess flashed in. "Perseus?" she asked. I stared at her for a minute before bowing.

Artemis POV.

"M' lady Artemis" Perseus bowed, looking shocked. "No need to bow. " I said. "PERSEUS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOUR FATHER IS DEVASTATED EVEN ZEUS IS PISSED!"I yelled at Perseus. He looked up and smiled sadly. It was then I noticed. His green eyes, once full of humour and twinkles, were now filled with sadness and pain. They were rimmed with red and he looked as pale as a sheet of paper. I flashed him to Olympus.

Percy POV.

Artemis flashed me to Olympus. Good. Maybe they will grant my final wish. I walked into the throne room. Zeus looked up. He seemed to be containing himself from something. 'Perseus where have you been?" he boomed. "Why don't you ask Poseidon, my lord?" I said, putting as much contempt and venom in my voice as possible. At this, my father hung his head. 'Or Athena?" I continued, glaring at my cousin, right into her stormy grey eyes, which painfully reminded me of Annabeth. Athena, Poseidon and Zeus seemed to notice the pain and hurt in my eyes. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN ASK MY DAUGHTER AND ELDER BROTHER PERSEUS?" Zeus thundered (pun intended). "Please, it's Percy," I said. "Please, ask someone else," I said. "Please" I whispered. Zeus nodded. "Iris, show us what happened to Percy." "Close your eyes Percy" came a sweet voice. "I know you do not wish to see this again." Then Iris showed the gods what happened to Percy. IRIS also showed them a few scenes from Percy's childhood.

Artemis POV.

I saw Perseus's scenes and I felt horrible for Perseus. Then I saw his stepdad (Smelly Gabe) whipping him and hurting him. I felt the other gods anger growing. Then, it stopped. All the gods were glaring at Athena and Poseidon. Father looked so mad, electricity sparked from his hair and beard. "YOU DISOWNED THE BOY AFTER ALL HE DID FOR US!" he thundered at Poseidon. Perseus had been put to sleep by my brother, Apollo. Uncle was shaking on his throne. Hera, meanwhile, turned to Athena. "Your daughter did this. She broke the poor boy!" she growled. Athena looked ashamed. Aphrodite was crying. Even Ares, who hated Perseus, looked sad. Posiedon hung his head. Then he spoke. "I owe a huge apology to my son Perseus, who I hereby claim." he began. "My son, I hope you will forgive me. And I.." It looked like he was trying not to puke. "I owe an apology to my niece, Athena.'To say we were shocked was an understatement. Athena looked the most shocked. "It was completely wrong of me to take the virginity of one of your maidens. I hope we can put this feud behind us," he said frankly. Athena got up from her throne. "My uncle" I gasped, Athena never called Uncle P that. " I am sorry too. And I accept your apology" she said. They smiled at each other, and a divine light lit the room. I smiled again. Apollo woke Percy up.

Percy POV.

I heard my father claim me, but nothing else.  I looked up. Before I could say anything, Poseidon crushed me in a hug. "Ow, dad too-too tight!" I cried. He released me. He smiled. I smiled back. Athena was smiling at me...what? Even Zeus looked happy. "Well, Perseus, what do you wish?" Zeus asked. "I wish to die" I said.

The gods all gasped. Poseidon looked sick.

Zeus POV.

The boy wants to die! What do I do? Poseidon will never allow me to smite his favorite son. I will admit this only to myself of course , he is my favorite nephew. Hmm... I have an idea.

Poseidon POV. (didn't expect that did you?)

Oh Gods, my son wants to die. No no no! I can't allow it! I have a sinking feeling that this is all my fault.  Oh please son, don't. 

Hades POV.

Perseus wants to die? Well, hades, why aren't you happy?  I asked myself. This is what you've wanted for years! But no, I can't smile, looking into Perseus' pain - filled eyes, pleading.Maybe I do have some affection for the boy after all...

Athena POV. (Suprise Suprise~)

Perseus Jackson wants to die? Oh, gods, I can't belive my ,gods I can't say it *shudder* daughter broke him like this. And I really can't believe that Poseidon apologised after all these years. I beg you Perseus, you will destroy me if you die. I will be ashamed for the rest of my life.

Artemis POV.

Father mind messaged me about an idea. I was filled with outrage. But father turns out he had convincing skills after all. He stood up. "Perseus, will you accept godhood and become the guardian of the Hunt?" he asked.
