Wonwoo wouldn't say he hated his mother for marrying another man other than his father, but he wasn't exactly the happiest either, mostly because he doesn't care at all.

His parents had divorced when he was sixteen, and while his mother married another man, he was under the care of his single father.

But when he turned seventeen, his biological father had died in an accident, leaving him alone with no one to take care of.

Although, his mother was still alive, he didn't think he had any relation with her after his parents' divorce, but according to the law of the country, he was still a minor and he can't live all by himself. So not having any choice, he was taken in by his biological mother and her new husband.

His mother's new husband, Mr. Kim, was a good man, he didn't seem like he minded having another son in his family beside his own one.

Although Wonwoo doesn't care about his surrounding much, he still didn't expect to have a Step Brother, but who is he to complain about the other, so he didn't mind his supposed younger brother, Kim Mingyu's presence much.

Days passed by like this, and when Wonwoo turned eighteen, he brought his first girlfriend in his home to meet his mom and step dad. They were okay with it and Wonwoo seemed glad about that.

He wasn't exactly nervous to begin with while bringing his girlfriend home considering how he never cared for what others think of him, so he wouldn't have care much even if his mom and step dad weren't okay with it, it's his life after all.

His step brother was only one year apart from him making Wonwoo be the older among the both of them.

Mingyu was a happy go lucky type of person, the type of Kid that every parent wants, smart, handsome, intelligent, positive, gullible and respectful unlike Wonwoo who hates life. 

Wonwoo himself was smart, handsome and intelligent too but his attitude wasn't best at all, he wasn't the type of people who liked to impress others.

For him, there's no good in pleasing a bitch.

When Wonwoo turned nineteen, he saw his brother Mingyu for the first time blushing so madly like that while staring at his phone, looking like a high schooler who has been finally noticed by his crush.

Mingyu was eighteen at that that time and he was in his second year of high school.

Wonwoo didn't say anything about his brother's giddy behaviour at that time, simply because he doesn't care about what Mingyu do, he doesn't even consider the other as his brother.

Beside, Wonwoo wasn't in his best mood at that moment, he was annoyed and impatient, past few days his girlfriend has been acting like a total bitch and he was not having those attitude from his girlfriend.

He wasn't totally head over heels for his girlfriend, but still he cares for her, he have spent enough time caring and loving her that he never did for anyone else, not even his own mother.
