The Drive

Chapter 1

"You are going to be late" Yelled Quils Dad. Quil shot out of bed and ran into her closet. Today is the first day of junior year! A few minutes later Quil came running out of her room and down the stairs. Then there was a car honk outside.
Quil looked in the window. It's her boyfriend Joshua. He's outside sitting in his beautiful blue ram truck. Joshua gets anything he wants. He's never had anything used, everything has been brand new.
But he isn't a spoiled brat unlike his siblings. Quil ran outside and hoped into the truck. "Good morning princess" Said Joshua while he was looking at Quill like he's never seen her before. Any time Joshua see's Quill he always makes it seem like she is a beauty that he has never seen before.

Joshua and Quil have been dating since Quills freshman year and Joshuas Sophomore year. They have been known to be the power couple of the school. Because no matter how many things have happened and how many people have tried to ruin their relationship. They always seem to stick together.

They pull up to their school. Willbur high. Nobody at Willbur high really knows who Quil is. But everyone knows who Joshua is. You know. Since he's the captain of the football team. And Willbur highs football team is the #1 football team in the country!
People only really knew Quil as the girl dating the football captain.
"Hey suckers" screamed a voice behind Quil and Joshua. They turned around, it's just Megan and Mikey. Joshua is and Quils best friends. They are holding hands. "Are you guys finally a thing?" Asked Joshua. The two ripped their hands apart. "What ew no!" Screamed Megan. You could see the the sadness on Mikeys face when Megan said that.

Mikey has had a crush on Megan since middle school. Megan also likes Mikey but she acts like she doesnt. It really hurts Mikey because he thinks she won't ever like him back.
Quil and Joshua exchanged looks. They feel really bad for Mikey. "Hey Meg let's go have a talk" said Quil. "Ooooo tea time!" Screamed Megan.
Megan and Quil walked over to the bleachers next to the football field.

"You have to stop acting like that to Mikey!" Screamed Quil. "You're really hurting him. He REALLY likes you. And you like him. So stop treating him like that."
"Quil.... its hard for me... I'm trying to keep my walls up..."
"I know Meg... but you can't let what Jake did to you keep you from being happy with a guy who wouldn't do that to you..!"
"I'll try... but give me time..." said Megan
"Ok. Thank you Meg" said Quil.
They hug each other and hold hands and walk to 1st period.
Later during lunch

Quil and Megan are sitting on the bleachers a they watch Mikey and Joshua playing football on the field.
Mikey and Joshua play football everyday during lunch.
Quil and Megan were just relaxing and talking about what they want to do in the future.

Quil just wants to travel the world with her S/O and her best friends.
"why don't we all just runaway together?" Said Megan
"I don't know Meg... would the boys even want to do that..? And how would our families react...?"
"Come on Quil! It will be fun!" Said Megan all exited.
"Let's ask the boys" said Megan
"OI JOSHUA, MIKEY GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE!"
The boys came running over.
"What's up?" Said Joshua
"What would you guys think about running away with me and Quil? Like a whole new life! Just us! Traveling the world!" Megan screams
"That sounds awesome!" Says Mikey
"But how will we afford it?" Mikey wonders
"I'll pay for everything! I'll get us a camper and we can take my car." Says Joshua
"So are we all in?" Megan ask
"I'm in" says Mikey
"Me too" Joshua adds
"Quil...?" Megan looks at Quil and gives her the puppy dog face
"I don't know guys..." Quil says
"Babe come on. You hate your household and you always say how you want to get away. So please. Come with us..." says Joshua
There is a silence for a few minutes
I'm in..." Quil says quietly
