Smii7y's POV
Thursday
"Uh, yeah, it's no problem. See you then. Bye," I say as I finish my phone call. Oh god, what have I done now?! Of all the stupid things I've done, I think this one takes the cake.
My parents called me asking to stay for a weekend to catch up and naturally I said yes, I love my parents. The catch is they asked if I was dating anyone, specifically hinting towards my roommate, and crush, and being the flustered, awkward person I was, I said yes. Fuck.
How am I supposed to ask Evan to be my boyfriend for two and a half days?!
"Hey, uh, Ev?" I call from the couch of the living room, he's busy cooking dinner in the kitchen. He walks out in his cute little apron I jokingly got him a few years ago for his birthday. He's worn it ever since.
"Yeah?" he asks with a smile, which quickly vanishes when he picks up my distress. He sits next to me on the couch, face full of concern. "Smits, what's up?"
My heart flutters a bit at the nickname, even though he gave me that the first day we met. This is going to be more difficult than I thought.
"So I uh, may or may not have said yes to my parents staying Friday, Saturday, and Sunday," I quickly spit out with a slight cringe.
He chuckled a bit. "Hey, Smii7y, look at me." I do, his brown eyes always managed to capture my attention. "They've been over before with way less time notice, it's okay."
"That's not the bad part."
"Then what is it?"
I took in a deep breath. "I may or may not have said yes when they asked if we were dating." This came out just as fast as the first time and I dropped my gaze from his.
A moment of silence passed and my heart hammered more and more in my chest. Would he even be okay with this?! Is he even into men?! Of course, he is, dumbass, he has the bi flag in his room. Thoughts swarmed around my head until I heard a light chuckle.
"Hey, it's okay. I can play the boyfriend for three days," he said with a reassuring smile, a hint of a blush spreading along his cheeks. "Buuut we might have to move most things into one room too, ya know, play it off better."
I gave a thankful smile and hugged him before he playfully pushed me off with a declare that he needed to finish cooking or else it would burn. With a smile still on my face, I get to work moving and hiding things from my room to his; mostly just moving clothes and hiding small objects like picture frames and little things I've gathered from get-togethers. Once my room starts to look more like a guest room, I begin organising and essentially just sticking most things in a corner to keep them out of the way.

Friday
Evan's POV
Smit's parents were to be here any minute now, the plan being they were to get here and we were supposed to make dinner and hang out; Smit and me acting like a couple the whole time.
So far we've moved his things into my room and are now sitting awkwardly on opposite sides of the couch. This is going to be one hell of an awkward weekend if we can't get past it being slightly weird to snuggle up against each other to show off our "undying love".
I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock at our door. Smii7y hopped up and rushed to the door and before I could even stand he had the door open and was greeted with a big hug from his mother.
I've always liked his parents, they're fun and chill, always teasing me about Smii7y and when we're going to get married, though I don't think they knew we weren't dating then.
