I wake up to the loud beeping noise of my alarm. I roll over slamming my hand down onto the clock to stop the annoying sound from going on any longer. My eyes widen humorously large, we have school.
I leap out of bed, yanking off the covers. "Draco! Get up!" I yell at him going to the bathroom.
"What?" He groans tiredly.
"We have school! Get up!" I yell again, this time from the bathroom where I'm splashing my face with water. Quickly I put on mascara and run a brush through my hair to get rid of any tangles. From the corner of my eyes I see Draco leap out of bed as well, my words finally registering in his brain. He goes over in the direction of my dresser where he had sat his clothes the morning before. I didn't see him for a few moments until he came back into view with his uniform on.
I exit the bathroom to see Draco in the mirror attempting to tie his tie but it just isnt working. I walk over to him quickly removing his hands from the clothing article. I tie it fast before saying anything. "You go ahead. I need to get dressed." I say watching him leave the room. I go over to my dresser taking off my hoodie and throwing it on the ground I take off my pants as well, sliding on my skirt and putting on my dress shirt, along with my tie. I go to the mirror fixing my hair before going back over to my dresser. I grab the hoodie off my dresser and slip it on, grabbing my wand and running out the door.
I walk down the hallway until I see a corridor inside the room are tables filled with students eating breakfast. I smile at the smell, pancakes. I walk over to the Gryffindor table happily sitting down next to Hermione. "Hey." I greet them. "Sorry I didn't sit with you yesterday, I got called to the Slytherin table." I groan just thinking about it.
Hermione looks up from cutting her pancakes. "It's quite alright--" She trails off on her sentence eyes widened. I look towards the others who also have widened eyes.
"What?" I whisper yell scared and confused.
There is a long silence between the question and the answer. "Malfoy's hoodie." Ron says, shocked.
"What?" I ask confused. What about Malfoys hoodie?
"You're wearing Malfoy's hoodie....." Ron supplies more of an answer. I stop eating immediately, my eyes widen as well. I stand up taking it off as quickly as I could. I turn it around to reveal it indeed says 'Malfoy' on the back. I sit back down shoving the hoodie underneath the table on my lap, hoping not too many people saw. "He must have set it on my dresser and left it." I whisper to myself.
"Why was it in your room anyways, why was he in your room?" Harry asks still staring at me.
"He left it yesterday." I tell him. "Later." I say promising to tell him more. I finish my breakfast leaving the room to go back to my dorm to grab the correct hoodie this time. I reach my dorm unlocking it and going inside, almost immediately spotting my hoodie laying on the floor beside my dresser. I must have thrown it there and picked up his when I was changing.
I pick it up throwing it on and exiting the room to go to my first class, this was going to be fun. I don't talk to anyone on the way to class, even though I get loads of stares from fellow students along the way. I open the door silently making my way to my seat, keeping my head down, afraid of what someone might say. News spreads fast at Hogwarts, if you couldn't tell.
I hear heavy sets of footprints coming towards me, however, I do not look up. "I would like to talk to you, alone." The slow voice makes my spin crawl.
"Yes, father." I say painfully.
He opens the door to the classroom letting me out, taking me around the corner to speak. "What is this I hear about you in malfoy's hoodie?" He questions.
"It's nothing."
"Nothing?"
"It was an accident, I didn't mean to wear it." I tell him stumbling over my words. I look up at the sound of laughter coming from down the hall, spotting Draco and Crabbe. They split at the end of the hallway, Draco coming this way. He continues walking this way finally looking up seeing me and my father, my father has not yet seen him. Draco turns quickly going back the other way apparently having heard the gossip already.
"Draco." My father, Professor Snape calls to him. Draco tilts his head back looking at the ceiling. Turning around he composes himself making his way towards us.
"Hello Professor Snape." He greets before trying to walk into the classroom without talking.
"Mr. Malfoy." My father grits out in a much deeper tone than before.
Draco stops again turning around once more. "Yes, Professor Snape?" He asks. I give him an apologetic glance, turning my attention back to father.
"I heard some things about a hoodie going about. Are they true?" Father questions slowly, fully knowing that they are, as I had told him some of it.
"I don't have a clue what you're talking about sir." Draco try's to pretend, playing it off.
"I see. Class is getting ready to begin." He says walking inside, leaving me and Draco outside. I look at him to see he's already looking at me.
"Did you have to leave your hoodie on my dresser?" I ask him raising my eyebrows up and waving my arms.
"I didn't know you were gonna wear it." He says in a higher pitched tone than his voice is normally.
"I put it back in my room, on my dresser remind me to have you take it back." I tell him finally, going into the classroom to get ready for class. Draco comes in a few minutes after I did, sitting down beside me and taking out his textbook from inside his desk.
This is going to be a wonderful few weeks.
