Drowned In Love

DIL: CHAPTER 4

I woke up feeling exhausted and my head pounding. I blinked a few times before looking at my room then noticed something odd about it. Since when did I have a color pink wall?  But it has the same furnitures but the color was standing out brightly which is definitely not my room.

Wait a minute...unless I'm with somebody.

I looked at my side and to my relief there was no naked girl under me. I tried to think of what  happened last night and how did I end up in a different place? Last night was a blur, I remembered my girlfriend cheating on me, then a girl who threw an egg, going to the bar setting my mind off, drinking, dancing and lastly making out with the girl. I was horrified to think that maybe something had happened. Like I raped a girl or worse. There were a lot of what ifs in my mind right now.

I am a man. I respect the virgins because I know they were waiting for their 'the one destiny'. I preferred sluts or whores since they're no longer virgins and in every way I don't feel  guilty. My conscience and instincts would scold me if I did something wrong.

I looked to my right and saw two advils and a water. Taking them the pain in my head subsided a little. Thanking whoever the person is, she sure does know.

Standing up, I quickly scanned my pants if I still have my wallet which is still in my pocket. But sadly my phone is nowhere to be found.

I opened the door, looked around if someone was there, but there wasn't. This is so strange, everywhere I look it looks exactly the same with my suite but has different wall color, with the same exact furnitures. I went to the door and was about to exit when somebody cleared his throat.

I should probably atleast thank the person. I turned towards him but suprisingly he is a she.  Wait a minute!  She looks familiar. She was the one who threw the egg on me!

She raised her eyebrows "What are you doing?" she asked. Instead of saying thanks "Your the girl who threw the egg on me!" my blood boiled. I was really having a bad day yesterday and she just threw an egg on me! But I must admit she looks cute and attractive.

"Your the girl who threw the egg on me! " he said furiously. I wasn't gonna have any of this. "Excuse me?! I told you I'm sorry already and I was having a bad day!" I yelled at him.

Gosh I'm pretty sure Hailey would hear this. He should be thanking me right now because I let him lay in my bed. He looked at me like he was checking me out. And I quickly stomped my foot to get his attention.

"Apology not accepted, pay me back by cooking food for me." he said demandingly. " Don't you know where you are? You're in my place and you even slept in my room! How dare you! You should atleast be thanking me." I said my voice rising.

God! I hate this guy right now.

"Okay sweetheart", he called "Don't call me that!" I told him. He smirked and walked inside the kitchen. Urgh!

"I shouldn't have stop him going out" I muttered. He's not the boss in here. I am. I'll show him.

"Get out! " I screamed, he looks at me for a good minute then just nods. Wow! I think I did it. He stands up and walked towards me. Why do I feel something with him? I stepped backwards while he was stepping forward. "What are you doing?" I asked, he looks at me intensely until my back hits the wall.

Is it me or this is just like the same typical romance movie?

"You know,  I have a name sweetheart. It's Marco Jaevus." he said. His lips touching my ears. My breathe hitched and my face flushed. Quickly, I pushed him with all my might. "I didn't asked" I said in a snobbish way. He just smiled then walked away. I breathed a sigh of relief. I heard the door opened "Oh! And by the way Thank you for taking care of me last night." he said loudly then shut the door.

Why does he affect me so much?

I stood there not knowing what to do. I heard footsteps coming and I knew it was Hailey.

"Well that was pretty intense" she said. I shrugged and decided to take a shower. My mind needs to cool down right now.

"Where are you going?" she asked. "Shower" I replied.

After taking a bath I have just remembered going back at the beach. Taking a sports bra, just incase. I didn't want to repeat a mistake again. I wore my shorts and slipped with my slippers.

"Oh Abby!  You are so impossible! Live a little will you?! " Hailey entered the room. "And don't tell me about living without parties again! " she added. "What?  Nothings wrong with swimming " I said innocently. "Of course!  Nothings wrong with swimming unless you do it everyday! It's like you have your own world already!What's with Posidon?!" she scolds me. I shrugged and head anyway.

I went to my favorite place at the beach. But I didn't dive directly. I noticed something floating, no wait. It was somebody. It's head resurfaced and I quickly duck and hid. It was Alex.

Oh gosh! What was he doing in my territory?

Wait! For the last 24 hours I had forgotten about him because of that Jaevus.

I look at him and observed. Why is he here? I better be leaving now. I crawled and slowly left where I was hiding. Nice and slow. I was almost there near the tree but a hand tapped my shoulder. Immediately, my shoulder slouched. I'm doomed.

God! This is so embarrassing! I wish the earth I'm crawling in would swallow me. "Hey excuse me miss,--" wait I know that voice. It was Jaevus. "Can I ask you a question? " I didn't know what to do,my back was still facing him. My lips were sealed and I just nodded. "Why the hell are you crawling?"

This is so embarrassing!!!

I shrugged,I kept still in my position. I heard him snort. "Hey man!  What are you doing in there?" right now my heart was beating fast. It was Alex. Do they know each other?!  I heard him coming near us. I better make a move but I was surprised when Jaevus carried me which made me screamed. He looked surprised just as Alex.

Uh'oh

My heart was pounding and I quickly stepped backwards as I was staggering. "Hey wait! You'll fall!" screamed Jaevus but it was too late. My body felt the splash of water.

My toe had hit a rock which made me coiled in pain. Resurfacing, I breathe again and again, looking around, I saw both of them heading towards me while swimming.

I quickly gathered air as much as I can and dived underneath. My toes hurt as I swam deeper. The deeper I go the darker it's light. I know this place under. I used to search for something interesting before and I found this cave just right under the cliff.

I dived into it. And hoped that I didn't have a deep wound. And maybe no snakes.

I can see a little of a light above which means I'm almost there. I resurfaced and hurriedly climbed above. I was shivering, suddenly I can feel my leg- Not now muscle cramps!

I looked at my toe and winced at the form of it. My toe nail was split into half and was bleeding. The blow of cool wind makes it more painful and I quickly stayed away from the waters. Goosebumps where showing in my skin.

My toe, my legs and my head hurts that I didn't care of it and soon the darkness took me.

----Idk if that was long and I hope you'll bear with my grammars. I have a lot of mistakes and I need to let my editor read this... heheheh which are my friends :D
