Drowned In Love

DIL: CHAPTER 5

I shivered and tried to pull some blanket with me. Why does my toe hurt?  Why is it so cold?  Last time I check we didn't have any airconditions.

I bolted up and had just remembered that I was still at this cave. This place had became darker. Wait,  how long did I fainted? This couldn't be good. I peeped at my toe and saw it didn't look so bad right now. I mean the dried blood had covered most of the wound. Gathering all my strength I needed to get out of here. I limped towards the water and winced when my toe had reached the water. Clenching my teeth, I shivered at the slight contact. I jumped so that my coldness wouldn't be so bad.

The water was cold but I stayed for a few minutes to get my body used to it then dived into the waters ignoring the stinging pain in my toe.

When I saw a large space above with some illuminated light I guickly pushed upwards and resurfaced. I breathe and saw a boat not a few feet away. A bright light came towards my direction. "It's her! She's alive!" I closed my eyes at the blinding light. Why would they be looking for me?

I shook my head and swam under towards the shore. I quickly crawled and started limping. I need to get out of here. I saw a guard house and went for it. There was a phone and I quickly grabbed and dialed Haileys number.

Ring...Ring...Ri-

"Hello?" haileys voice answered "Hailey! I need you to come and get me!" I told her. "Jesus Christ Abby! You almost gave me a heart attack. Where have you been?  Did you know there was a search party for you? Are you alright? Where the heck are you? Your gonna get a good scold Young Lady! I almost called your parents!" I sighed "I'm fine and still at the beach. Please hurry up! I'm really tired." I answered exhausted. "I'll be there!" then the line beeped.

I went out near the road.

Haileys car stopped near me and she hurriedly opened the side of door for me. "You better start your story about this one Abby and don't you dare make excuses! " she told me.

"Yes mother!" I said rolling my eyes. "Wait, who were looking for me? You should tell them to stop because I wasn't missing" I told her. "Already did, though they would want a statement" rolling my eyes I cant help but snort. Am I in a crime already? Those question & answers stuff they do is for asking or looking for murderers. "Whats so funny?" she asked "Nothing" I told her.

She went to a halt outside the suite which made me move forward and had contact with the dash board. "agahhsjagahsgsaj@@(Bad words) Hailey!!!" I felt the pain in my throbbing head and my toe. "Sorry" then she parked.

I got out of the car and limped towards the door. Heading directly in my room.  I went inside the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit. I washed first my toes which stung and grabbed the kit...

Cotton balls, gauze, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol and betadine.
Yep... yep... nope... nope... YES!  definitely.

Washing it with soap I grabbed the cotton balls and dabbed it with betadine. I know it doesn't sting but the pressure and everything might hurt. Okay, don't be a baby this isn't alcohol just betadine.

The cotton balls with betadine slipped between my fingers and dropped right in my toe. I let out a strangled cry and flapped my toe which had hit the tub. The pressure stings!

A knock came by the door. "Are you okay?" I froze, Whats he doing in here? "No and yes,dont even try to help" I told him. He didnt answer. I watched my toe bleeding again and this time I tried to wrap it with a gauze. My hands were shaking, there are so many blood oozing out my flesh. I shuddered.

I didnt know what else to do. I cried like a baby and it hurts like a bitch. Suddenly the door opens and Jaevus came barging in. I helplessly covered my face and tried to cover my tears. He picks up the kit and started cleaning my toe again. I winced but he continues, I tried to protest but decided not to.

I silently stared at him. He looked so professional of what his doing. Then I saw Alex standing in the door. My face flushed, I still remembered what happened. I got two hot boys here with me right now. Alex broke the silence "How did you stayed in the waters for hours?" he asked me curiously. Jaevus stopped for a minute and watched me intensly. "I dont know...I mean I have my own world sometimes."

I wondered why was Jaevus so silent. Awhile ago hes cocky and now hes silent. Like really silent, too silent for my liking. Once he was finished he nods at me and then returned the first aid kit. He came towards me but Alex cames into my view, "Here,let me help you" I shook my head while Jaevus grunts. "I think I can manage", I said. I stood up then looked at Jaevus "Uhm...Thank you for helping" he nods and stares at Alex. I can feel the tension between them. I thought they were friends? Couldnt this get more awkward?

"Look! Theres a bird in my window" I said the most lamest excuse and pointing anywhere to stop the tension. Immediately, both of them looked and I started limping towards the kitchen.

My stomach demands food right now.

And right now, I know that Ive got a lot of explaining to do.

Oooh How was that? This chapter took me hours to write and Ive been trying to make the Chapters longer though...so please understand that im not good with grammars and english...
