"I should very much like something. Perhaps a drink?" You suggest and he could not possibly rise to his feet with more haste, smiling as he rushes back to the counter so that he might order what you have wished for, bringing it back with a smile. "Thank you very much, Colin."
"That is quite alright." He sits back across from you, leaning back, relaxed on his chair as you sip from your drink. "I do promise I shall take you home after this. I am sure you have many more callers you must attend to!"
"You are quite wrong. I do not have so many at all." You smile to him, lifting the cup to your mouth slowly.
"I do not believe that. You are possibly the most perfect woman I have ever seen, you must have countless callers." He leans in a little closer. "There is another ball tonight, I presume you shall be in attendance... may I count on a dance with yourself?"
