You arrive at the ball and look for Colin who is stood with the same short ginger girl in yellow, but he instantly moves from her when he sees that you are in the same room as him. "Miss (y/n)! How are you? How have you been?"
"Since I have seen you only this morning?" You smile and raise an eyebrow. "I did not wish to interrupt your conversation once again, Colin."
He blushes slightly, his cheeks pink. "Oh, no, it does not matter. I am quite glad to see you once again... you are looking ever so lovely as always. This colour suits you the best."
"The other must have been nice enough since it caught your attention." You state and this causes him to chuckle to himself, slightly embarrassed.
"You are so... so right... Miss (y/n)." He hesitates. "So... perhaps we shall talk of our foreign adventures once again! Should you choose Rome or Paris?" He enquires.
