Filming Season Two Owen Joyner x OC

Chapter 5

*Anna POV*

I walk onto set the next day super late. My phone started acting up and that is my alarm so I woke up late. Whih caused me to go into panic plus it did not help that Madison stayed at my apartment until like midnight. I walk in expecting to see just the guys and Kenny. Kenny sighs. 

"There you are, hun. Where have you been?"

"Um... where is everyone?" I say holding my coffee, ignoring his question. 

"Kenny decided that since we have a song to rehearse with you it would be a good thing for it to be just us today. Did you not get my message?" Charlie says. 

"No, my phone is broken and I am not getting anything. My alarm never went off that is why I am late." I say setting my bag down. We are rehearsing the dance today but I thought I would have Mads and Sav here to keep me from going crazy. I mean Kenny will keep the boys from driving me to mad right? I hope. 

"Well, we were just warming up before we rehearse, so come on." Kenny says, handing me music. 

The song happens when Reggie and my charater are torn apart by my dad. I had met the boys a few weeks before, the day I had ran away from Caleb, my dad. Me and Reggie get close and then we are torn apart by Caleb because he does not want his daughter hanging out with them. Well, because they are too powerful to be under his control and they refuse to join him. Of course then they get mad that I did not tell them that I was his daughter and then drama. 

I start to warmup with Jeremy and I could see Owen in the corner of my eye. We harmonize on our long note and then break. 

"Just a second, I will be back." I say before, I walk over to Owen.

"Are you okay? You have been staring at me intently from the corner since I got here." I say and he almost blushes. 

"Yeah, I am fine. I just I miss you, I feel like I have not seen you in forever and I just like your face."he says wrapping me in a hug and I smile. 

"I know it has been like a week since we have hung out. We can hang out later okay, but I have a feeling that Kenny and Charlie will eventually kill both of us if we don't get to work." I say. He laughs and agrees before we head to the recording studio.

Well, you sould think that being in a room with youe crush, your brother, and their best friend would be akward but in fact it was simple. In fact it was easy, but I think it is because none of them no how I feel. I am slowly but surely falling for Owen. There was no denying it. No matter how hard I try, I knew it was bond to happen. I mean we are best friends and we spend all of our time together. I was so deep into thought about Owen and I that I could not hear Kenny pracitcally yell at me. 

"Anna. Anna. Anna!" Kenny says and I snap out of my daze. 

"Oh, sorry. What?" I say and I hear Owen, Jeremy and Charlie laugh from behind me. 

"We need you in the booth." He says pointing to the recording booth. 

"Okay, sorry." I say sending a glare to Owen and Charlie. They snicker. I grab my water bottle and fix my glasses as I open the door. I step inside and close the door. I take the headphones off the stand and pull them on. I hear a soft beep before Kenny starts to talk to me. 

"Hey, hun are you ready?" Kenny says and I send Charlie a soft smile as Charlie gives me an encouraging one.  

"Yeah, let's get this on the road." I say. He nods and clicks play on the board and I hear a soft meledy start to play. It was familiar yet so unfamiliar it was scary. I start to sing the tune and get a small soft smile from Owen, Charlie, and Jeremy. I push them out of my mind and focus. I start to get really into the song and I close my eyes. I remembering all the lines even though I have only sang this song a few times.
