"So what happens if we try to kill him again ?" Toga asked innocently while holding a knife and playing with it a bit.
"You basically cut our funding and main recruiter of small time and soo to be, High ranking criminals." Shigaraki says
"Oh right. I forgot about that !" She giggled as she threw the knife at Emelie before she easily shot it off its trajectory.
"Pathetic." she says before leaving the bar.
"So... mind explaining the situation of this hero killer ?" mustard said.
"Sure. As you may all need to know there is an underground legend of a new hero killer that.. does what his name suggests. Still, only most of the villains know this knowledge as the hero associations are trying to keep this under wraps."
"Well seems about something predictable from them. Should we alert citizens of the new danger of heroes falling dead ?"
"Unlikely. We say that and heroes going to call us liars. Responsible of said attacks even. Society depends on the image of heroes winning every battle. So pathetic to think that can always be true." Shigaraki said a bit irritated.
"So what you plan to do about this ?"Izuku asked a bit curiously while sketching out new villain upgrades on his suit.
"Well for starters... we need to find him and maybe catch him in the act. Or create a scene of our own."
"How you plan to do that ?"
"Is going to cost a lot but I am sure Kagero can give us a general idea why the heroes so far got killed. Then it is up to you guys to see who the next victims are. In the meantime..." he then walk over to the bar counter and picks up the USB.
"Lets see what places we might need to go." Mustard then went in the back in order to get the laptop. After a while the encryption goes through and they see a semi-long page list.
"That's a lot of names of different locations. Pretty far apart as well. I doubt we can get good criminals and villains in every location. Even with Kurogiris quirk is going to take too much time." Mustard said while looking at the list.
"Indeed. There has to be a way to solve this issue." Kurogiri said while cleaning up after Emelie.
"I think I have a simple solution." Izuku said after finishing the few notes of his own suit for now.
"What's your plan ?" Shigaraki said.
"We can just make the list smaller. Is that simple."
"How you think we can accomplish that you idiot ? Delete names of the files ?" Mustard said to him.
"Well.. why don't we make a few criminal attacks in few of these locations in cities and other places which have difficult heroes to handle in the city. Such as: Ectoplasm, Endeavor, Present mic, Snipe and... All-might just to name a few. " he said the last name a little forced.
"You are... correct. It does sounds a little counter intuitive to make our own army get smaller. Still, I guess sending the message that no one is safe will be better."
"I guess everyone can agree on that. Still, what this about high criminals ?" Izuku asked while
"Well as you may not know... sometimes quirked criminals escape. A few professional ones with years of experience with the intent of killing heroes or people they have a grudge against. So we help them hide and possibly get them easy kills for a better reputation."
"I say its win then. saves us money."
"Hey Deku ? Don't you need to go somewhere ?" Toga asked while Izuku was thinking.
