ja'aliyah pov:
the next morning i woke up in brandon's bed, with a major headache. i got up and went to the bathroom.
"got damn, i still look good," i said doing my dancey dance.
i did my hygiene routine, and got back in the bed. about an hour of scrolling on tiktok had went by, and brandon finally woke up.
"bout time you got up," i said.
"shut up, feel any better," he asked.
"yeah, i got a headache though."
"i bet, you were drunk as hell last night."
"really," i asked laughing.
"yea, you threw up on the stairs."
"oops sorry," i said laughing.
"not okay, shit is disgusting."
brandon got up and got ready. he had workouts practically all day. briana and i were gonna go to the mall together, but she cancelled on me cause she had things to do with dejuane. i decided to just go to the mall with cohen and landyn. they started dating, and things were going great between them.

after picking up landyn and cohen, we went to the mall. i let them walk around by themselves, giving them their space. i walked around pink for a while. as i was leaving, i saw familiar faces walking into champs. i decided to go in there to be nosey. i walked around for a while and spotted briana and brandon laughing.
"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK," i yelled.
"um, i swear it ain't even like that liyah," briana said as she turned around.
"NO ITS EXACTLY LIKE THAT. FUCK YALL."
i walked out the store. i called cohen and landyn and told them to meet me in the car once they were done. about 30 minutes later, cohen and landyn walked up to the car.
"i saw brandon and briana, what happened."
"nothing," i said dryly. "where y'all going."
"her house," cohen replied.
"okay, y'all hungry?"
"no," they both replied.
"that's different," i said chuckling.
i took them to landyn's house, then went back to my aunt's. i hadn't technically broken up with brandon, but i wasn't ready to face the fact that he cheated. especially with my best friend. the fact that it was her hurts the worst. i decided to call josh, since he was the only person who would listen.
after pouring my heart out to josh, i took a shower to get rid of some of my thoughts. he told me i should talk to the both of them before i jump to conclusions. he was right, but why else would they be together. not only were they at the mall together, but they both lied to me about where they were going. that made the whole situation 10x worse.
