Kidnapped (UNREVISED)

Book 2. Chapter 11

Walking down the dark hallways, out towards the front of the girls dorm, i held the note in my hands.

I'd decided to give Alec a chance and hear him out, it was rude of me to run off on him like that, but i needed space after unloaded the unexpected on me.

Sam was taking a nap. She set her alarm for 5 AM, She says that once the sun comes up, shes going to take some kind of state of mind peace class, something to do with earth, and all that crazy hippie shit.

In 10 minutes, she was knocked out. I then took the time, to grab my sweater, the note Alec had slipped under my door, and quietly head out of the room, careful to not wake up Sam.

Behind some bushes there was some kind of soft music playing, I pulled the bushes down to easdrop and watch Alec sitting down spreading a blanket on the floor, and he had a cute little basket in his hands. He opened up the lid and began to take out, sandwiches, chips, sweets, and I noticed a tiny black radio in the corner, the source of the music.

I must have made some noise because Alec turned around and smiled at me, i watched as his eyes lid up in my presence, and my stomach did several backflips.

"Hey! You came" He stood up and handed me flowers.

"Yea, of course. Hey Alec, i'm really sorry that I ran off like that, Its just that it was all so sudden-"

"Oh no! It was honestly my fault I shouldn't have just told you like that all in one blow, I should have waited."

"Well, It's okay. So a picnic.." I said turning around to look at all the detail that he went through in order to put this little "date" together.

"Yea well, It's my way of saying sorry, and hopefully you'll forgive me?" He handed me a cookie the size of my face.

"Holy cow, yea totally forgiven." I smiled at the cookie and took a bite out of it.

"How is it?" He rubbed him hands together in excitment, and pure bliss and joy flooded him features.

"They are honestly amazing! Where did you get them?" I asked shocked at the amazing burst of flavor

"Actually, I made them." He smiled back, pleased that I was enjoying the treats.

"Woah, well you are one heck of a baker, these are amazing Alec!" 

"Yea I've been told, I've never tried one." He said looking back towards the trees in embarrasment.

"WHAT? Here take a bite, like right now." I extended my arm out till the cookie was inches from his face, then he gentle grabbed my hand with the cookie, and brought it down away from his face.

"I don't like chocolate cookies." My eyes must have given it away once Alec started laughing.

"That's crazy, you have some serious talent though! These have to be the best i've tasted!"

"Thanks, so anyways. Eat whatever you want, and then maybe we can go for a walk?"

"Yea of course" I said shoving half a sandwich down my throat.

Once I was done eating, Alec stood up and placed him hand out and grasped mine, pulling me up to stand.

 As he pulled me up to stand, I found my face only inches from his, and for once in a long time I thought about Daniel and Luke, and the pain and longing slowly began to set back into it's place in my heart. The pain and the car driving away flashed before my eyes over and over, but I was also angry at them. So with the small sparks that erupted within me, i pulled my lips to his mouth and regretted nothing. 

I stood there at first only our lips barely touching, and then I reached my arms around his neck and tugged the hair on the back of his neck. His arm wrapped around my hips and he pulled me possessivly into his chest and kissed me back.

"You stupid stupid slut! How could you?" A very familiar and strained voice spoke out from behind us. We pulled out of our heated date to find Daniela's shape, standing under a tree in the dark. 

"I may be stupid Daniela, but i'm not one to leave one that I love, and Im sick and tired of people judging me, so you have something to say? Keep it to yourself please, because my heart had been ripped beyond repair." I let go of Alec's hand, which I didn't realize I was holding while Daniela stood watching us.

"Goodbye Alec." I reach over once more on my toes, and place a light kiss on his soft lips. 

I walked away from Alec, as our fingers slowly detached and I looked back at him and gave him a small smile. 

Daniela, threw her arms over her head, and stormed off into the darkness until she was nowhere in sight. 

I looked back at Alec once more to say goodnight. He caught my eye, and blew me a kiss. I watched as he extended his hands as if to extend his kiss to me threw the air where it will reach me only a couple feet away.

And I caught the kiss.

And like everyone else I had so wrongly chosen to give my heart away to, I pretended to catch it with my left hand and I placed it on my chest, over my heart.

To be locked away forever, and for me to always remember that I can count on one person to piece back together whatever I have left of my shaddered heart.
