I don't know how Kelsey managed to get away from the band long enough to get me from the airport but sure enough she was there to throw herself at me.

"I don't know whether to hug you, kiss you, or punch you in the face. Or all three. Oh shit give me another hug, I was scared shitless."

"Its over."

"Matt?"

I nodded. "I'll tell you all about it on the way to the venue." I told her.

The plan was simple. I would wait at the barricade for the whole show. It would be hard for Alex to see me at first with all the lights. When he finished "Therapy," Jack was going to whisper something to him to get him to look directly at me. I wasn't sure what his reaction would be when he saw me but that was the plan.

"You going to be okay?" Kelsey asked worried I'd leave her again.

"I'm with our people, I'll be okay. For real this time. I'll be fine. Just make sure Jack knows what he's supposed to do."

"Oh God we are really going to trust Jack to do something," she teased.

"You love him," I reminded her.

"I do, but don't tell him that shit," she smirked hugging me quickly leaving me to go backstage. I could imagine Alex asking her if there was any news on me. I'm sure it was killing her not to tell him the truth, but this is what had to happen.

Jack spotted me, trying to keep Alex distracted from looking in the front row. A few times I could see a concerned look on Alex's face when the lights didn't go where they were supposed to, and when Jack would be more random than normal. It made for an interesting show.

"This song goes out to all of you," he stated as he began to play "Therapy," here it went. I sang along just being a fan again. It felt freeing to know that he was still oblivious, but also sad to do this.

As he played the last note he spoke. "Thank you," Jack came onto the Alex's part of the stage whispering to Alex with his back to the crowd. Alex's eyes grew wide searching the crowd. He spotted me in no time. He threw his guitar to Jack, jumping from the stage pushing past the security guards reaching for me.

His hand grasped the back of head, his face against mine.

"Don't ever leave me like that again, please, you scared the fuck out of me. Please don't scare me like that," he repeated kissing my lips. Fans were slapping him on the back screaming in his ears. He tried to climb the barricade to hop over but security stopped him.

"Get her out," he yelled at them. As I held my arms up letting them drag me from the pit. Alex pulled me from the security guard wrapping me in his arms.

He guided me toward the stage, Jack and Zack helping me up. Rian threw me a thumbs up, as Alex climbed up behind me. He kissed me again before I snuck backstage with Kelsey.

"That made my night, let's play some fucking music," he called into the microphone. "Love that girl,"

After finishing their set Alex whisked me into his arms.

"I am so glad you are okay, but if you ever, ever worry me like that again. You're going to have to answer to Kelsey," he laughed. "I missed you,"

"I missed you too,"

"Let's go onto the next city," he yelled everyone cheering.

"We get a hotel tonight?" I asked stunned as he fidgeted with the lock of the room.

"We are doing a festival, it happens sometimes," he explained letting me enter first. He rolled our suitcases inside before tackling me onto the bed.

He stared at me playing with a strand of my hair. "He didn't hurt you did he?"

"No, not really, not as badly as he could have. Thank you,"

"I didn't do anything."

"You've saved me in so many ways, you'll never know." I explained before I let his mouth engulf mine.
