Ch.6 Separation

A while later he opened his eyes slowly. "Ugh" he said slowly while sitting up. He put his hand on his head. His head was throbbing, it hurt a lot. After realizing he still needed to look for Emma he jolted up and started looking for her again. Somewhere else in the forest...

"Ugh" said Emma. "Where am I?". She sat up and looked around. She could only see trees for miles. "Guys?" She stood up. Crack. There was a sound coming from the bushes. She slowly walked over to the bush. She pushed her hands through the bush. Inside there was a White fox. "Oh hey there little guy." She said with a sigh of relief. The fox nervously stepped to the back of the bush. "Don't worry I mean no harm!" she said. The fox didn't believe her; it kept walking away from her. Back at the river.

"When are they coming back?" asked Liam. "I don't know how much longer I can wait." he said tiredly. Noah Yawned.

"I guess we could go look for them." Noah said tiredly. They walked Down the river hoping to see them but found no one. Then Liam sat down on the side of the stream. Noah sat down next to him.

"We're going to have to continue on for them." said Noah. Liam sighed.

"Fine...".

Later that day the night drew closer. Emma was running in the woods trying to catch the silver white fox. Until she lost it. She ran out of breath and sat down on the dry grass. Then the white fox slowly walked out from the bushes. Emma opened up her backpack and pulled out a piece of bread. She pulled off a piece and started eating it. She looked down at the fox. Its stomach made a growling sound. She pulled off another piece and held it out to the fox. It backed up a little bit but then ran back.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you!" she said in a soft voice the fox went up to her and snatched the rest of the bread and ate it. "HEY! Hahahaha!" said the girl. But then she heard a rustle in the tree above her. Then a drip of red liquid fell onto her shorts. She saw a figure......was it......a vampire?
