Night Light (Shining's + Twilight's father) died and so does Flash's mom, Static Electricity. First Base and Blaze Vedette both graduated in high school. They are both in different colleges to became just as a successful as Flash. Flash were their role model. Even Shining was. The Princesses retired and passed the responsibility of protecting Ponyville safe. Twilight got over her grudge for Shining and accepts her new brother - in - law aka her ex. She even got close to Volant. Being the best aunt ever, she still kept her title. She was still close to Cadance.
Shining retired of being a lawyer, with 1000 billion dollars left over. He gave 50k of it for the homeless and for the orphanage. Flash still continued his dream of being an actor and singer. He also made a small business for making candles for everyone and cologne for men. Also giving birth to another alicorn baby boy, Streak Armor. Giving Flurry another younger brother. Flurry began high school, receiving all a's just like her mom did.
They moved into another house, but with an bigger garage and an extra bathroom. Sandalwood and Fluttershy have twin girls. Sandalwood also got a better job. Fluttershy even got her own vet hospital.
Flash reunited his high scholar friends. Even Sunburst and Sunset Shimmer. Shining and Prince Blueblood did bonded a bit better. Some grey areas but it was nothing.
