your ridiculously kind face;
once a domain to numerous smiles,
wrinkles with plain artistry
and refracts our opaque crimes.
the furnitures occupying your living room,
the subtle tick tock of your ancient clock;
they all but anticipate for you
for they know, you're rolling in your eternal sleep
and your soul is already for the death god's to keep
