Hotch nudges your leg with his knee to wake you up as you begin your descent. You resist the urge to close your eyes as the flight lands, but you hold on to your armrest just as tight. When you're on the ground everyone stands up and begins unloading their luggage from the overhangs.

"Prentiss and JJ, I want you to go to the first two victims' house. Rossi and Reid, you'll go to the second two. I want you to learn everything you can about our victims, and after you can track down the boyfriends. Morgan, I want you to go down to the police station and figure out what they know. Work with Garcia on the geographic profile of the bodies locations."

He doesn't give you any orders but you assume you're going with him. You watch as he reaches up into the overhead compartments, and you're surprised that he grabs your bag first. Without words, he places yours next to you before grabbing his own.

"Thanks," you say quietly, giving a light smile. He gives you a nonchalant nod in return, as if his courteous act was nothing special.

You follow him out to the SUVs and climb into the passenger seat after putting your things in the back. He gets in the driver's seat silently before putting the car in gear.

"So Romeo, where are we going?" You tease with a mischievous smile.

"You're not going to let that go, are you?" He shakes his head at you.

"Of course not" you reply "it was actually pretty cute. It's probably the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for me. At the very least its top three."

"Me reading Shakespeare over your shoulder managed to make your top three?"

"The bar isn't very high" you admit "in highschool a guy spray-painted my name on a stall in the boys' bathroom, and the other one was in college when a guy took me to the burger barn to cash out on a buy one get one free meal."

"That's romantic?"

"I don't have much to compare it to" you shrug "why, you think you could do better?"

"Easily" he replies, a competitive edge to his voice. "I bet that within the week I could replace all three incidences on your list."

"Ooooh, Aaron, you're getting competitive?" You laugh.

"It's not a competition" he clarifies "It's more of a bet."

"Alright, if you manage to replace all the dates on my list, what do you want?"

"I'll have to think about that one" he leans back in his seat, his face concentrated.

"I have an idea," you suggest "One whole night at my place. You can do whatever you want to me, and I won't be a brat about it."

"Whatever I want?" He asks, prompting you to nod.

"Really?" He asks, slightly surprised. "I might have fun with that. Consensually, of course."

"Yes, obviously"

"You think you can manage not being a brat for one whole night?" He asks, chuckling slightly.

"If I try hard enough" you sigh "but if I win, I can do whatever I want to you."

"Of course" he nods "what did you have in mind?"

"I had some ideas," you say "besides, I'm sure I'll enjoy it no matter who wins."

"I wouldn't doubt it" he smirks slightly "although, some of my ideas would be a lot more fun for me than for you."

"You shouldn't be thinking about what you're going to do if you win," you tell him "you should be thinking about how to win."

"Y/n, if your idea of romance is being taken to a burger restaurant for preteens, I'm sure I won't have much trouble."
