Waking up from her sleep, today was her last
day here in the hospital. She was kind of sad because this place was like her miniature spot to gloom out of the dark that she was in. Still she had her thoughts and bad things. And on another note she met her new partner in crime Aubrey.

Still feeling down a little she was about to worry herself, breaking her out of her trance just in time Aubrey knocked on the door with some supplies in her hand doing her normally checkup on her.

"Hey babes, how you feeling today"? Aubrey asked her as she took the IV out of Assiah arm while checking her vitals.

Nodding her just a little she tugged a little smile, trying to play it off like she was okay.

Aubrey sensed it when before she even asked her. "Nice try, what going on inside that cloudy head of yours"? Aubrey asked her as she set down Assiah folder that contained her medical information that she had to note down for her file on the counter.

Coming back over to her she took a sit beside her on the bed.

Assiah begin to fumble with her finger as she sighed a little with a tear rolling down one eye.
"It just that I-, I don't know, today is the last day I'm here and I don't to worry about when I gonna get beaten on or cursed out for no reason, but that's the only place I have to go back to" Assiah said as tears begin to pour down her face.

" Aww sweetie remember what I told you, you got me, your like my little sis now, hell my child ask anyone in here they'll tell you, and for one I wasn't gonna let you go back to that hell hole anyways" Aubrey told her as she comfort her giving her a side hug.

Wiping her face, Assiah begin to shake her head "I can't do that Aubrey you already did enough for me, I don't wanna be a burden on you, I wouldn't feel right as doing so" Assiah told her as she wiping the tears off her face.

"Assiah you really think I'm gonna let you go back to a coward bastard to what beat on you and shit, then I know it could have been prevented knowing that you told me about, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if something bad happening" Aubrey told her.

"And then you gotta let that pride go when someone offering you an opportunity take it, I doing it because that's the right thing to do, and god wouldn't be pleased with me knowing I could have helped, but didn't like I said before don't feel like you doesn't have anyone cause you do me your family to me know, and family suppose to help each other, now I don't care what you say no if, ands, & buts about it your living with me, only thing I want in return is for you to be happy and build yourself up, okay" Aubrey told her waiting on a response from her.

Shaking her head Assiah still that it wasn't right, she did it one time by living with Elijah he did the same thing when she was at her lowest and cared for build her to know her back down. Assiah knew that Aubrey wasn't like him, and wasn't like that to but she just didn't want herself to be put in that position of interfering with her life.

"Aubrey I know you mean well but I just didn't want you just feel like your oblige to do this for me, and plus I don't have anything to pay you back" Assiah said as wiped her nose.

"Honey like I said before I'm doing this cause I'm a kind person it'll break my heart if something happen, like I said I'm here to help you to get back on your feet, not drag you or bash you" Aubrey told her.

"Yeah I understand Aubrey, but if I stay with I got to contribute something to you, which means I gotta get start handling responsibilities like my granny raised me to do, and also I'm wanna say thank you Aubrey for being here for me help aid me back to good
health physically and mentally, for that I'm forever grateful. It's like God and my granny an angel my way, cause really i was in a dark shallow place wanting to end it all" Assiah said as tears begin to come down her face.
