At the begining of our third year in secondary school, Holly cleverly pointed out that our vice-principal had been a hippie when we were in first year.
Holly and I had her for geography and everyday she would come in to class wearing something that would show her hippie side, floral sandals, floral dresses, etc.
When we were in second year, she became vice-principal and stopped wearing the hippie clothes and began wearing professional outfits, suit jackets etc.
When talking about this in third year, Holly realized that our vice-principal had become 'The Man', the one the hippies always hated .
Every so often the vice-principal would wear a flower on her jacket in school to show that deep down, she will always be a hippie.
