The castle doors swung open revealing a tall, black haired woman in bright-emerald robes inside standing by the opened door with a stern expression making sure the students would know not to cross her.
"Here they are Professor McGonagall, the firs' years" said the man.
"Thank you Hagrid for bringing them here, I'll be taking care of them from here on" she said pulled the door wide open to let all the students in, they got in and saw the that the entrance hall way was huge, the stone walls were lit with torches, the ceiling was high, and a staircase facing the entrance that leads to the upper floors. "Follow me then" She said starting to walk the students followed along.
Throughout the halls you can hear hundreds of voices that was coming at the big mahogany door. It seems that the rest of the students was already here though the Professor led the first year students to a small empty chamber, they all piled inside the small chamber shoulders touching, all of them looking around nervous.
"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your houses, once you are sorted into a house, you will treat your housemates like a second family. You will all have classes with your housemates, sleep in your dormitory, and spend time in the common room. There are four houses, they are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Each house has its noble history and had produce outstanding witches and wizards. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup." She said "The sorting ceremony will begin shortly it will take places in front of the rest of the school as well as the headmaster. I suggest you all fix yourselves up to look more smarten. Now i shall return when we are ready for you and please wait here quietly" she said as she leave.
The students started to make themselves look more presentable, some were fixing their hair, flattening their robes, removing any sorts of dirt they have on them, and checking their breath. Robin and Hermione were at the middle of crowd as they both also fix themselves up Robin was in the middle of flattening his robes when suddenly Hermione turn to him.
"Robin do i look alright?" She asked nervously while fiddling with he fingers looking at him
"You look beautiful Hermione though you have a strand hair" He said as he took the strand hair away from her face.
