Tmnt Lost

Ch. 4 "Protecting"

                                             River POV 

After Eating Donatello wanted to check my injuries, so I was sitting on the table he lifted my shirt, then unwrapped the gauze, at least that's what he called it, 

As he was looking Raphael stood right next to me and I held onto his thumb, as Donatello looked, 

"They are healing just fine," He said 

"Good," Raphael said 

"River?" Leonardo said 

I looked at him, 

"Who did this to you?" He asked 

I touched the cuts, 

"This?" I asked tilting my head, 

At this point everyone was there and staring at me, Master Splinter was also looking concerned,

"Yes," Leonardo said gently 

"I don't know his name, but he dresses funny," I said tightening my grip on Raphael's thumb, 

"Funny how?" Michelangelo asked 

"All metal.." I said 

"Claws that come out of the metal," I mumbled 

"Shredder," Splinter said shocked 

"Your not going to take me back there are you?" I said looking at Raphael

"Back where?" Donatello asked 

"Where they did this," I said showing my arm

"No of course not tiny," Raphael said 

I yawned really loud, 

"Come you must be tired," Splinter said picking me up, 

                                    Raphael POV 

"We have to keep her," I said 

"What are you nuts we can't keep a human child," Leo said 

"You and I both know she's far from normal, she can literally disappear," I said 

"That doesn't mean we have to keep her!" Leo said 

"She was experimented on and attacked! the kid needs protecting, and I don't care if you will or not I'm not letting anything happen to that kid," I said glaring at my brothers 

"Enough! we can discuss this at a later time, she is napping you must be quiet my son's," Splinter said 

We all nodded 

I walked out of the room into the room where she was with is my room, 

I looked down at her, she was so small, so innocent, I brushed some of her hair out of her face, 

"I will keep you safe," I said
