Back at the mansion Sabrina resumed in her work, both business and experiments. As she visited her garden again she thought about what happened at the palace she scoffed.
She knew that people who listened and witnessed the situation will have a divided opinion, and among those that worries her most that may affect greatly to all of her plans and standing is the thorn of all thorns, and that is her marital status.
She thought if this goes on it may affect not just her family but herself and all her businesses and may become a weapon against her incase of future dispute since she apparently has already made contact with the heroine.
'She probably hates me now'
'I need to decide what I am going to do now, probably the best options in this will be to get engage first. But finding the most suitable partner is gonna be harder, since there must be certain qualifications.'
These thoughts ran through her mind and gave her a bit of a headache from all the thinking.
'Where should I start?'
As Sabrina was deep in thoughts the sun was already at its lowest and the stars are starting to appear in the dark night. Hilda who was on standby nearby decided to call out to her master.
"Excuse me my lady, It already is starting to get dark, I think it is better to return inside, -dinner might be starting soon."
"Ah yes, thank you Hilda, let's go then, shall we?"
Inside the mansion the duke, duchess and Alex are surprisingly present. When Sabrina saw them she greeted them and looked perplexed because of the serious atmosphere that the duke and Alex are emitting.
"Father is there something wrong?"
"No not really. I will announce it while we have our dinner, so prepare first and let us meet in the dining table alright."
"Yes father."
The duke kissed his daughters' forehead and left to change together with the duchess. Alex and Sabrina went to their rooms as well to change.
While inside the room, Sabrina pondered if something important happened while she was in the palace, since she was busy she didn't use her butterflies so she heard no news.
And then it struck her that there will be an event that will take place in a months time, it was the empress's birthday celebration. She knew this because this was the event where the prince and miss heroine will show off their relationship, and the event where the villainess will confront miss heroine.
'*sigh*... Its a pity because I always leaned more to the villainess than the heroine in the story because her situation and action was something that was not out of pure evil for me... but then again it was just me who might think that'
After thinking and changing the butler Martin called for her to go down to start their dinner.
At the table a lot of food were served by the servant, and in the middle of their meal the duke finally talked and pulled out an invitation that has the seal of the imperial family.
Sabrina thought, 'here it is..' and sipped a little bit of water to clear her throat.
"This is the invitation that was given today for the upcoming birthday celebration for the empress, and since this is 'considered' as an important event, all of us have to make an appearance", the duke said with a nonchalant voice.
The duchess then said, "Then since it come to this, I suggest that Sabrina will help with choosing the gift this time, are you ok with that Sabrina chan?", she said with a bright smile on her face.
Sabrina then replied to her mother, "Of course mother, its my pleasure to help."
"Kyaa!... My daughter is so pretty."
Her mother screamed and blushed when Sabrina smiled her a smile.
"Then it is settled, I will leave it to the both of you. But let us remember that this is not just an ordinary celebration. You all know what I mean right?."
The duke asked with now a serious face worn in his face.
"Yes father!"
"Yes father!"
Both the siblings answered at the same time with a bit of calm and sinister look, if anyone sees this people might misunderstand. But their showing this expression because this was a celebration where a lot of possible situation and different scenarios might occur.
