At the park:
Today was beautiful. Lengthy trees looked over the two, showering both with colors of red, orange and yellow leaves, and as they fall below their feet, it would crunch with the lightest touch.
The leaves were delicate and it reminded Nagito of himself as he would find himself looking up, amused with the start of the day.
As Izuru looked up in the direction of the white haired male, he caught a smile on Nagito's face. It was...
Not so boring.
He've seen Nagito smile countless of times already, but this smile... there was something different about it.
"Komaeda. What are you so happy about?" Izuru questioned.
"Mm, nothing," Nagito replied back.
Izuru just looked at the other's face.
It's obvious that he's trying to keep something away from me. Whatever, I am not in a place to force an answer out of someone, Izuru thought to himself.
"I'm not really smiling," Nagito said out loud, almost as a whisper.
What does he mean? I just witnessed him smiling, so why is he trying to lie right in front of my face? How did he know that I was going to ask about that.... Intriguing...
As Nagito caught one of the leaves, he placed it in his pocket.
The leaf was different from the other leaves. Well, all leaves are different just as every snowflake differs from the others, but... the one that Nagito decided to choose was bright orange, slightly translucent, and was overall...
Just like any ordinary leaf.
Kamukura didn't really understand the meaning of placing a random leaf in his pocket, but he didn't care to ask any questions.
"H-Hey. Kamukura, would you like to eat something with me?" Nagito asked.
...
"Sure"
