Authors note: hi so this is my first book and it ment alot to me when people commented on my last chapter tht I was so happy I thought I'd write another chapter today so basically the more u comment and vote the better chance u have of me updating sooner!!!

After lunch I had English, English was okay I suppose, but it's not really my cup of tea.
We had to wright an essay using the title 'The dare..' it's not that hard really I just wrote about someone daring me to go into a haunted house at midnight with a camera to proof and all these scary things happen but turns out it was a dream... Heh.
I was Just in the middle of saying that it was a dream but then the deputy head of the Orphanage came in and called me to her office. When I went inside I saw Max sitting in the office aswell.
Max was my little brother I never had. He almost always came to sit next to me in break and lunch but some days like today -Monday- him and his year group had diffrent lunch and break time.
I wondered what it was we had done wrong, maybe it was Mr Robson complaining about the lake of work in my maths book but I still didn't know how that conserend Max.
"Do take a seat Tami," Ms Mary-Ann said in a calming tone realising how worried I must have looked.
I hope I didn't look as green as I felt.
"So Ms, why have you called me here?" I asked politely
"Well, someone would like to adopt you." I froze.
My head was spinning. Im nearly 13 summers old, it's highly unusual to be adopted here over the age of 8. Then another thought hit me I was going to be away from Max!! I couldn't bare that! As though reading reading my mind "Don't worry Max is coming too" she said. I glanced at Max and did the same.
Just then Max tore his gaze away from me and looked behind. I followed his eyes and saw two people. One lady with long blonde dainty hair about waist length and a man with floppy, dirty blonde hair.
" These people will be your new family.."
