Have you ever stared at the sun?
Looked it in the eye?
Doesn't it hurt? Too much?
Isn't it crazy how the light makes you go blind?
How sad could the sun be,
A gorgeous ball of gold.
The brightest star in the sky
Yet alone.
Have you seen those deserted trees?
As lifeless as they seem
Not a leaf, no birds chirping
Those lines of black, which were once green.
Alone they stand,
Through the rains and storms,
Lifeless, at the strike of day
Lifeless, as the night falls.
Have you ever witnessed an evening,
When the sun is about yo rest it's head?
When the sky bursts out, to bid farewell,
into a hundred shades of red?
Have you seen this sun
Through that lifeless tree
The branches breaking the light
Into patterns never seen.
Isn't it surprising how easily
These two "sad" entities
Merge together in that perfect moment
To create a perfect scene?
In that moment i see myself
In the red, in the blue, in that lifeless tree
For everything that used to pull me down
Today completes the beauty of ME.
