See me

See me as gray

In a box of colours

See me for what may

Be the side undiscovered

Wrapped up under layers

Is a voice unheard

In my heart

Is my own little paradise

In which dances

The child- like soul of mine

Untouched by pain

Running blind on a floor of clouds

Chasing butterflies in rose bushes

Without a thing to fear about.

But there is a dark side

That keeps pulling me back

Anchored to my feet

This chest of my past

This is where the thorns prick

And the clouds move apart

And i fall 100s of feet below

And the anchor draws me to dust

Trembling from the fall

Scared by the pain

I rise up and run to the clouds again

So see me as both and see me as none

For I AM both and i am none.
