Ep 16

Jungkook perhaps was a bit too shocked, because Jennie found herself standing in front of her table, where laid the drawing tablet. Sighing, she sat on the corner of her bed.

'What is happening?'

Her thoughts were interrupted when her phone buzzed near the table. She picked it up only to hear Baekhyun's panicked voice.

"Noona, where are you right now?"

"Why? I'm at my house."

"Stay there. I'm picking you up"

"what's the matter?"

"I'll tell you once I come"

"oh, okay."

Baekhyun came within five minutes the call ended. However, he didn't need to explain anything. When they were about to get in the car, a figure appeared in front of them.

A man in a black long coat accompanied with a black hood that covered his face. 

"NOONA, GET IN THE CAR, FAST"

"who is-" 

"ITS W'S ANTAGONIST, "

They got inside the car and soon Baekhyun started the engine. The car drove away in full speed. Jennie was in utter shock but still managed to speak,

" how did he get out of comic?" she asked slowly

"The same way Jungkook did, I guess"

"b-but why is he after us? what does he want?"

"it's not us, it's you. Since you became a part of the webtoon, his goal became to kill you. Remember that was the plot."

"But you, why did he chase you?"

"he wanted a face. He doesn't really have a face you know."

"This is ridiculous. Me getting inside the comic was okay and all but how can they come here? Jungkook still didn't tel-"

Her words stopped, when the car pulled a hard break. Baekhyun stopped the car. She was about to ask, but she saw it, again. In front of her eyes stood the killer. 

It started coming near and near them, "NOONA, RUN", shouted Baekhyun

"its already late", she whispered slowly.

It has reached the front glass of the car now, holding an ancient gun pointed straight at Jennie's. She closed her eyes, ready to get shot.

Minutes passed, she didn't feel anything. so, she gathered the courage to open her eyes.

The car was running. However, it was not the same atmosphere anymore. She looked to her side, and to her surprise, there was Jungkook driving.

"Good thing,  you're here. But why do you look like this? Did something happen?"

"The- no, nothing. Umm, where are we going?" she pulled up an innocent smile, not telling Jungkook about what happened back there.

"Ah, Tzuyu's. She called me earlier. By the way, do you know what happens when characters start disappearing?"

"They gradually get erased."

No one opened the door even after several knocks. " I know the passcode" Jennie whispered to Jungkook. He moved aside and let her unlock Tzuyu's apartment.
