LYNX WAS SITTING UNDER A LARGE beech tree in front of the black lake, peacefully reading her book, enjoying the serene surrounding, the birds chirping the wind blowing her hair flowing with the wind, the copy of pride and prejudice in her hands,
it was now almost winter, last months were quite eventful for everyone in the castle as someone had let the troll inside, the Quidditch tryouts for Ravenclaws were held as well for chaser and beater, devan eventually made the team as a chaser. Harry Potter was a quiet competition towards Lynx, seeing he caught the snitch with his mouth! Ew on his first-ever match.
Diana and Devan had to go back to their residence for some reason, they told them it would be much better if they didn't tell where they were going as they didn't want them to be tensed, but lynx knew something was up, something wasn't right why would there be family issues or their mom being sick every time?
she was quietly murmuring the words, she turned the page to 24 which was the next page, she thought maybe she should go back to the castle now it had already been four hours since she was down at the lake all alone, no doubt Blair and Elizabeth would be freaking out about where Lynx had gone without even telling them.
her eyes darted toward the grass when she saw something moving she moved her book and started to take a look at what it was, she saw a small light brown almost occur colour with dark patches on its tiny body, she carefully picked it up without fear, it was true lynx was a parseltongue, in other words, she could talk to the snakes, she always wondered when she got this ability from, her mother wasn't able to talk to snakes nor was her father, the snake slithered around her index finger to and hand and hissed a little hello, lynx replying even took the snake a little surprised, lynx heard someone running down towards her direction, she quickly let the snake free,
none of her family knew she was able to talk to snakes, the only people who knew were Blair, devan, Diana, Elizabeth, and maybe Draco seeing that he would never leave lynx alone, he would follow her everywhere she went, sometimes he would follow her to the restroom and wait outside for her, he loved her more than anything in the whole world,
his worst fear was him losing her.
She snapped out of her thoughts and saw a blonde girl walking towards herself, she quite wasn't able to see the face, lynx shortly realised it was Penelope Clearwater, a muggle-born witch who was this year's Ravenclaw perfect,
"Lynx" she panted "you are asked at headmaster's office" she continued panting
"What? why? I swear I didn't do anything this time it was Fred and George" she defended herself remembering the prank she did last week with the Weasley twins
