IT WAS NOW 07:00 AM,lynx was presently sitting in the great hall, most people thought it wasn't important to wake up this early on the weekends, which was true, but not in lynx's point of view. she was always been taught that waking up late was unladylike.
on the Ravenclaw table, there were only four or five students, on the Hufflepuff table there were around ten students, the Gryffindor table was empty, there wasn't a single Gryffindor sitting there or even around, on the other hand, the Slytherin table had the most amount of students.
last night the girls learned a lot about phoenix and got to know about her, she was now comfortable around them,
lynx attention went back to the book in front of her, everything she was trying to understand, everything was going above her head, she didn't understand anything at all, she really wanted someone to help her understand as on Monday they had a test, Blair was sleeping, Elizabeth was busy with something related to quibbler, Diana and devan were going to arrive in the afternoon, and phoenix was clueless herself, no one was ready to tutor her,
she stared at the book, bitting her nails anxiously, she didn't notice the movement occurring beside her as she was very much lost in thoughts, by the time Adrian took his chance and smoothly slide next to the girl, he leaned and tried to put his hand around her shoulder before that he got interrupt by the sharp voice of lynx
"don't. even. dare" she said making dramatic pauses between words not taking off her eyes from the book
"damn it" he mumbled under his breath
"what do you want pucey," she asked looking up from her book and looking straight into his eyes accidentally, both of them felt weird in their stomach, there was no doubt they did
"good morning love, you look absolutely beautiful today" he replied ignoring her question, lynx raised her eyebrows and said
"so you mean I don't look beautiful every day?" she asked
"no-no that's not- that's not what I meant, you look beautiful every day," he said losing his confidence, lynx chuckled, it was almost impossible for Adrian to believe that she laughed or smile at him, 'wow who knew if I stutter I'd make lynx flutter, that rhymed!' he thought and proudly smirked to himself as if he won the quidditch cup, lynx waved her hand in front of his face snapping him back to reality
"pucey! pucey!" she shook her head and returned her attention to the book, she rested her elbow on the table and her face leaning on her palm, Adrian hummed in response,
