Chapter 5: first crush?
The piano was there with all the photos of my family and I. "Can I?" Tamaki asked and I nodded, "sure." I said sitting down in a wooden chair with a embroidered backing. He sat down and looked at the music sheet. "How come this is half finished?" He asked, "because mom never finished it... she said that she'd play that song at my wedding, you know. If I ever made it." I said and he sat down and began to play. It was soulful as it started, it got brighter but then it obviously stopped but he just kept going with whatever felt right to him. Haruhi wrapped hair arm around me and pulled me close, I didn't even realize I was crying till now.
When the song was done we clapped for Tamaki who looked at me and blushed. My chest felt tight as I watched him."Hey, Aki? Can you play something?" Honey asked, I looked over to the piano then back to Honey. "Do you mind if it's on a guitar?" I whispered as I watched Tamaki, "you'll be playing right?" Kaoru asked, I nodded and got up and grabbed a chair and jumped up on top the sturdy cabinets. I opened the ventilation grate and took out a golden colored guitar with charcoal black burns. I smiled as I picked this up and looked down and saw Tamaki with his arms outstretched. "Oh, thanks." I said and handed him the valued instrument. "Why is this burnt?" Tamaki asked placing it down and grabbing my waist. I smiled and circled the charred wood. "And why was it in the vent?" Honey asked, "it's a bit of a story... but... this was my father's. He didn't like seeing it after the fire so I hid it up there." I said and tuned it, I touched the strings, it made a low sound. I closed my eyes and began to pluck at the strings. I looked at Tamaki then over to the rest of the Host Club.

Tears welled in my eyes and I smiled, "Aki!" The twins said and began to hug me. "Who did you sing that song for?" Tamaki asked, I watched him, "my father, he sung that song when he asked my mom to marry him, it was the first song I learned and in return I taught it to you." I said and set it down on the table, the clock chimed and I saw my housekeeper. "It's time for bed," she said and I nodded as she walked out.
I showed them to their own rooms and I went to mine. I fell asleep and dreamt of better times with my family. I woke up and went to go take a shower. When I was finished I turned off the water and began to pat my hair dry when the curtain was pulled back and reveal Tamaki who obviously didn't expect to see me in here. I dropped my towel over my front as we just starred at one another. "Well..." he handed me my robe and looked away. I put it on and darted out of the bathroom. I heard the water run and mumbles. "Why....door not locked?... what will... say....do?" I blushed and ran to my room this was not how I wanted to start this day.
